1. Browns-Darnold QB
2. Giants- Most likely a trade down, if not Chubb DE? I would take Rosen, but they just traded JPP, and could use a pass rusher so I will say Chubb
3. Jets-Rosen QB
4. Browns-Barkley RB
5. Broncos-Nelson G
6. Colts-Fitzpatrick S
7. Buccaneers-Ward CB
8. Bears-
I could see someone trading up to 2 to grab Rosen, then the Jets would take Josh Allen at 3 doubt the Broncos pick Mayfield at 5, or that someone trades that high to get him, maybe they trade up to 8, but the Bears won't take a QB, granted we won't either, but Miami at 11 would, so Buffalo would need to jump ahead of Miami, and Miami is not in a hurry to trade up for a QB, because they technically still have Tannehill. Will see how it all shakes out.
I dont see any way that QB's dont go 1-2-3. The Giants will absolutely trade out of 2 for a king's ransom if they truly are content with Eli for now. Or theyll draft a QB themselves. Staying at 2 and taking Barkley or Chubb doesn't make much sense for them.
I think Darnold, Rosen, Allen go 1-2-3, Barkley goes 4 to Cleveland, Denver takes Chubb at 5, at 6 Indy trades back with a QB desperate team after Mayfield, TB takes Fitzpatrick or Ward, CHI takes Roquan, and we either draft Nelson or Edmunds at 9. Probably Edmunds, considering our need of a pass rusher, and Nelson isn't totally a scheme fit for the outside zone.

HomeNewsGuard Jonathan Cooper's one-year deal with 49ers worth $4.95 million Guard Jonathan Cooper's one-year deal with 49ers worth $4.95 million 2 hours ago • 3 comments

The San Francisco 49ers signed guard Jonathan Cooper to a one-year deal on Tuesday. That deal is worth $4.95 million with a $2 million signing bonus and $4 million in total guarantees, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Interior OL market going strong. Well-traveled former 1st-round pick Jonathan Cooper's one-year deal with the #49ers is worth $4.95 million, including a $2M signing bonus and $4M in total guarantees.

"Having started 27 games in four NFL seasons, Jonathan brings great experience to the interior of our offensive line," said general manager John Lynch via a statement issued by the team upon the announcement of the signing. "We look forward to him competing for a starting job at guard, while also bringing a veteran presence to our locker room. Jonathan is a welcome addition to our team."
The Arizona Cardinals made Cooper (6-2, 308) the seventh-overall draft pick out of North Carolina in 2013. He started 13 games at left guard for the Dallas Cowboys in 2017.
Copper sustained a knee injury in Dallas' final game of the season last year that required MCL surgery in January, according to a report by ESPN. He was expected to be ready to participate in an NFL team's offseason program, which begins in mid-April.
Lynch, who was at Stanford's pro day on Thursday, told reporters Cooper would compete for one of the two starting guard spots. At at the very least, he adds solid depth to the position.
"Number one, he's got to get himself healthy," Lynch said. "He had his surgery right after the season, so there's some work to be done there."
Lynch said the 49ers would be conservative in their approach to make sure he returns healthy.
"He played very well, in our minds, for Dallas last year," he continued. "Kind of resurrected his career."

I have the details above, but here again, $2M base(GTD), $2M SB, $475K RB(per game broken down to $29,687K a game), and a $475K Workout bonus, cap number os $4,860,938 due to him playing in 13 games, so only $385,938 of his $475,000 RB counts.

Right. If he sucks, he is gone and that means we found something better. I want people fighting for a job, and more importantly, I want Jimmy G standing upright.

this, you want Jimmy G standing upright. Great signing with low long term risk. You have to find two quality starting guards out of what we have on the roster. Hopefully the new center will make everyone play better

I really don't think this guy can hold up for 16 games. I suspect he will have a real strong camp and probably end up starting but ends up getting hurt and hopefully we have a good rookie back there ready to replace him.
Yeah, this is the first time I've heard him have an MCL injury. I didn't know that originally. I definitely can see us drafting at least one OLineman, most likely a Guard in the draft this year. 49ers didn't draft any offensive linemen last year.

This is probably what will happen. I wish we had a shot at Chubb, but from the #9 position, it's going to be tough. Last piece of the puzzle is that all important edge rusher.

Seeing his tape from last year alone, I would rather have Cooper out there then Laken.

It will barely even make a blip on our cap.
This much guaranteed means we should probably take Lynch seriously when he said Cooper with compete for one of the starting roles at OG.
That's very little money. It's competition money.
