Just based on a lot of the comments I've seen its pretty clear that most had no idea who this kid was before he was drafted and are hating on him largely because he doesn't their view of an ideal receiver.

Kyle thinks Pettis can beast in his offense and right now that is good enough for me.

Kyle is only human, we all make mistakes ur not gonna sit there & say every player he brings in will indeed contribute or become a star player in his system. There's a proven vet with a whole ton of experience available

As a matter of fact Kyle f**king up already by keeping Ward & Armstead around should of got rid of both those bust already

Bottomline, I trust Kyle far more to pick receivers for his offense than random forum members, 95% of whom never watched Pettis play in a single game in college but have zero issue speaking as to why he can't succeed after reading a random draft profile and watching 2 minutes of highlights on Youtube.

As far as Bryant goes, he's been sitting out there for months and interest has been minimal for his services. His character issues combined with diminishing skills clearly have NFL teams pondering if he is worth the headache.

Bring him in on a cheap contract with minimal guaranteed money? Sure. If not he can GTFO, take the drama train elsewhere.

I am. I hack people's smart TVs and he's right, most of us are clueless.

Sign Dez already i don't trust that Pettis kid seems like a Brandon Lloyd type of WR, gonna take like 6 or 7 years to develop

I am curious to see how he would do with a decent accurate QB like Jimmy Guap.

f*ck it.

I am all for it.

we needed him last year when garcon went down

we don't need him now

Exactly! He's one hit away from possible retirement.

In all honesty, we probably need him for the red zone. We don't have anyone that is much of a threat inside the 20.

With that said, I really don't want him.
I have been completely against signing him but if he comes on an advantageous contract and Jimmy/Staley/Sherman approve, I'm all for it. We do need the red zone presence and he's still physically competitive and can help set the tone at times on offense. Does concern me on the mental side though. Maybe a cheap 1yr deal, cut him if he does something that warrants it.
