Dez Bryant Has Been Released

We do need the red zone presence and he's still physically competitive and can help set the tone at times on offense. Does concern me on the mental side though. Maybe a cheap 1yr deal, cut him if he does something that warrants it.

That puts a younger guy on the bench and may stunt a young players development

so............

what are the odds garcon doesn't go down so early for the year again?

Exactly! He's one hit away from possible retirement.

outside of this yr Garcon has been pretty reliable/healthy, Dez on the other hand not so much.

if it makes a better football team who cares. and if if our front office are the brains of mr spock that we have been told, they will find a way to do a deal that will not hurt us should dez get beat out in camp like rice did at denver by a younger kid.

sigh,, mr obtuse.lol.. you know what i meant so stop. dez is a high risk guy who is still a very good football player in my opinion. lots of people think our front office is the smartest front office around in regards to contracts so if they sign dez. i assume it will be a very team friendly deal we can get out of or will not cost us a bunch in case dez either 1. loses it is camp like rice did at denver and gets cut or 2.. he starts fine like moss then causes isses later like moss did which forces us to cut him

i do know what you meant, just another bash against the FO.
Dez a Niner yet?
There's a chance he'll go unsigned by game #1.

I don't see him going to a rebuilding team.

At this point the Ravens had a solid offer and nobody since.

I'd bet serious money he won't be a Niner.

So you guys think that Dez will come here and okay with being a back up? He's not starting over Garcon or Goodwin. I doubt he would be okay with that role. Most likely, he's gonna sign with a team during or after TC when a teams #1 or #2 WR goes down.
I really wonder if there is going on behind the scenes? I doubt it but these rumors are persisting, is it only because of the deleted instagram comment?

Maybe that deleted tweet really meant something. Can't play poker when you already showed your hand
I see Dez signing with the first playoff team that loses a WR on a one or two year deal. I don't think he's really in a hurry right now to sign anywhere. Injuries will happen.

that not in a hurry thing you are talking about is forced due to no one really wanting him that bad

I for one don't mind him signing as long as 1) its a team friendly deal, and 2) he understands his role. He's a target in the redzone and with Pierre, Marquez, Dez, and Trent on the field in 4 WR sets, not even the Rams D will be able to cover those 4 guys. I say sign him and bring him in to compete, can't hurt. If he gets beat out, then cut him. Insurance policy to have in-case someone gets hurt in TC. I tweated he wanted to play for SF for a reason.
