Everybody thought randy moss was done b4 he left the raiders. Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery. Just saying

The Niners will 100% take a WR in this draft at some point. Are you okay taking 1-year of Dez Bryant and cutting Bourne or bypassing WR in the draft completely? Not to mention likely paying Dez over $7M?

I'm not.

I'm ok bypassing WR this year especially in light of the RF situation. Allow us to use more draft picks on defense this year and build some depth.

Because that's not how it played out at all.

They never offered him a pay cut. They just cut him without an offer. That's why the meeting today lasted only a few minutes. Per Shefter, Rapoport and the Dallas beat writers. I'm not sure what else there is to say.

Shanahan says he values WRs who can "create separation". He has also said there are "many ways to create separation".

However, we all know Bryant can't run a route to save his life. Certainly not in the last couple years. And now -- he can't create separation with his body. People are living in 2015.
