Agree, bring Dez in and allow him and Garçon to battle it out, best and healthiest man wins.....
Injuries occur, Dez can be added depth. One year prove it deal would be ideal, incentives loaded.

3 wideout sets with Garçon, Dez and marquise in the slot would be nice : )
Trent Taylor would be the # 4

Why?

They specifically paid premium dollars for McKinnon so they wouldn't have to worry about these things.

Dez is NOT better than Garcon. And he will not play over Goodwin. There is zero chance Shanahan rolls two possession receivers out there every snap as his primary WRs.

At the very best Dez would be the 3rd most utilized WR on this roster. And that means diminished playing time for Taylor.

Why would Shanahan sign up for that?

Let training camp decide who is who.

Sanu is closer to Dez... but Sanu is still a superior WR at this point in their careers.

I understand the fan desire to see a former star on the roster. But there is zero evidence Shanahan would adopt somebody like Dez and be forced to either drop Bourne or not draft a WR at all. It seems very un-Shanahan like.

BTW... I agree we need a red zone threat. I'm just saying Dez ain't that guy in 2018.

Hard to take you seriously when you make your hatred for Dez so obvious.

Sanu playing vs #2 CBs his entire career and has never put up Dez numbers.

It's not happening, sir.

You don't bring in a guy for $10 million "just to see how things shake out."

In anycase Maiocco has already said that Dez likely isn't happening.
Dont want Dez unless he can also play LB, sort've like Ohtani pitching and hitting...too soon?

Also, his comment of "i will see you twice a year" to the Cowboys could mean a combo of facing them in the pre-season + reg-season +/or post-season

Like him or not, he'd be the best WR on the team. Those that think Goodwin is a better WR are fooling themselves. Quise was a backup until Kyle worked his magic and gave him a role. Garçon is on his final leg and a completely different player than Dez.

I'm not a Dez fanboy by any stretch of the imagination. His play has fallen off, but I think that it was largely due to his lack of QB and lack of interest when not being targeted.

Jimmy would be able to get him he ball and allow him to makes plays. He can still do that at a very high level.

I think we might have some interest. He's a better WR and bigger threat than Allen Robinson and everyone gushed over him. Julio's don't grow on trees and neither do Dez Bryants. Kyle said that when you have a chance to get a playmaker that forces defenses to alter their coverage you have grab him. We'll soon see if they think Dez can still be that guy.

I agree with this position. The only thing I'd add for contemplation is whether Dez will be able to stay disciplined in KS's offense, or become a malcontent. Thing is, it appears JG will be spreading the ball.

I think his frustration was due more to Dak's inability to get him the ball consistently, not that he wasn't targeted enough.
Well I'd like him, but we know KS is picky about his wide receivers. Ultimately, I don't see it happening, but could be surprised.

Bring on Dez.

Cheers to CIN West.

That's exactly what it was. He was targeted often, even though a large percentage of those weren't catchable. WRs tend to lose interest when they feel they're not being utilized.

Its all about this guy in the draft.

Im in the camp that says pass.....I think? not sure.....

However, why are so many people talking about Dez and Goodwin in the slot? Neither are slot WR's.

Garcon can however play in the slot. Dez and Goodwin on the edges, with garcon in the slot, Kittle at TE, and Juice and Jet in the backfield sounds pretty good.
