Just thrown out the facts lol. Maybe Kittle wants to be under contract for 12 yrs?

Mahomes left a f**k ton of cash on the table...I wouldn't say he got backloaded cash either. Most of his GTD cash is in the first 3 yrs and he's got like 7 yrs of team option deals.

I haven't seen the details of his contract yet, so he basically has a 3 yr deal if something crazy happened bc the chiefs could just opt out and say bye bye ?
Clowney would be dumb to re-sign with Seattle because he would just be double teamed there on a consistant basis. He needs to sign with a team that could help him increase his value for one last big payday. He should sign with a team that has a stacked Dline which would not only give him 1 on 1 matchups but likely a matchup with a team's weaker Olineman. He had a horrible year last season because he had no help and it would be the same again if he goes back there. Go to a team where he isn't the #1 or #2 guy on that Dline.
We sign dis clown yet?

That's why SF makes sense - he'd be in a rotation with Ford. He'd be the #3 guy.

Huh? How do the Chiefs cheat the Salary Cap? Not possible, it's a hard cap.

They backload a 10 year contract and adjust it later on duh

That's not cheating the cap that's just structuring the deal, and redoing it later on.

Just Clowning around
I think if we were to sign this guy before extending Kittle, then i'd be irritated.
can we still afford him for a 1 year deal now?

Bosa, Clowney, Jordan, Ford on passing situations.

That would be slightly great.

Not really, we have about $7.861M in cap room, but the 52nd and 53rd players would take up $1.22M, and the 16 man PS would take up $2.176M, plus the team needs to keep money for in season emergencies/roster moves. Unless they redo Jimmy and/or Dee's deal(s).
