Correct me if I am wrong, Texans gave him the "non exclusive" tag right?
Doesn't that mean teams can make him offers trying to sign him long term and is up to the Texans to match?

Yes, but the team that signs him has to give up two first-round picks if the Texans don't match the offer.
It's not happening.

He's now looking for a 1 year deal with a contender. How can we make this work for our cap?
Where's AB?

Probably take north of 15m, so not in our range.

I'd try to make it in our range. If he does well, we get at worst solid production for a year and a compensatory pick when he's gone.

Either player would be a welcome addition to any team, esp. ours. but, I'm liking our folks we have now. let's get a SB Win , all guys signed and healthy, and under the salary cap first. We can chase guys like dat next year easier (SB contender and a great team atmosphere and $$$$$), with these perks..

Unlikely to return to Seattle, they're really not gonna be a good pass rushing team. But because they have Wilson and it's just seattle they will beat us once when we should beat their asses twice

We will feel like we've dominated the game all game long and then the 4th quarter hits and Wilson makes one of his backyard plays and all of a sudden it's a 4 point game.

Don't they have less cap space than we do?

It's too bad we gave D.Ford all that money because Clowney is publicly saying he'll take around that same amount.
