$12.2M according to OTC.
Doesn't make any sense to get clowney unless he wants to play for peanuts or they have a trade idea for Ford (would save $14.3M). Still giving Kittle should be the priority
Well there was a report awhile ago that Clowney may settle for a 1 year deal worth $10 Million. So I guess they could afford him if that is his price. the Niners have all their guys signed for 2020 right?
$10M isn't really doable, you have to remember the team needs money for their 16-Man Practice Squad, plus in season emergencies. Plus they don't really have $12M in cap room, that's just for the offseason, it all depends on the final roster, cause some players that may make it like Benjamin, Compton make $1.05M and $2.7M respectively, then you have players 52 and 53, that's $610K minimum each, so $1.22M there. The PS will be in the $2.176M range, since last year was $8K a week, $136K a year for the PS player, right there that's $3.396M off the $12.2M, leaving only $8.804M in real cap room, plus if they extend Kittle, it may be $2M in 2020 cap room, meaning only $6.804M in real cap room. Unless Clowney is willing to take like $5M max, then it might be doable. Anything over that isn't.
