Jadeveon Clowney

Doesn't make any sense to get clowney unless he wants to play for peanuts or they have a trade idea for Ford (would save $14.3M). Still giving Kittle should be the priority

Well there was a report awhile ago that Clowney may settle for a 1 year deal worth $10 Million. So I guess they could afford him if that is his price. the Niners have all their guys signed for 2020 right?
Imagine him on 3rd downs only? Fk yes why not for 1 yr!!! Do it

He would not get double teamed and possible could get 15 sacks with our Defense, while preserving himself playing less snaps.

I don't think he comes to Niners. He wants money.

This right here, this is the niners ace if they want to bring him in for a little less than asking.

Give up $2m this year, have a career year, get paid next year.

Makes sense, would be a great move for him. Look amazing on a stout d-line. Pretty much an audition to get payed next year.

I'd sign him just to keep him away from the Seachickens.

But he shaves....whoops, your right, I forgot about the taint pubes

Can some other Team PLEASE do something and sign him. I'm sick of our division always getting so many good players (except the Niners of course)

$10M isn't really doable, you have to remember the team needs money for their 16-Man Practice Squad, plus in season emergencies. Plus they don't really have $12M in cap room, that's just for the offseason, it all depends on the final roster, cause some players that may make it like Benjamin, Compton make $1.05M and $2.7M respectively, then you have players 52 and 53, that's $610K minimum each, so $1.22M there. The PS will be in the $2.176M range, since last year was $8K a week, $136K a year for the PS player, right there that's $3.396M off the $12.2M, leaving only $8.804M in real cap room, plus if they extend Kittle, it may be $2M in 2020 cap room, meaning only $6.804M in real cap room. Unless Clowney is willing to take like $5M max, then it might be doable. Anything over that isn't.

Huh? How do the Chiefs cheat the Salary Cap? Not possible, it's a hard cap.
