You are probably right. There is something about Gordon, though. He could have been great. All along I kind of wanted us to give him a shot. Hell, we have signed every other fa receiver!

Just a matter of time before he does something stupid if he signed with the 9ers. At this point I have more confidence in Kevin White than I do in Gordon, for real!!!

Gordon's only problem was smoking weed, I don't remember him ever suspended for anything else

Yah, Gordon's only issue is weed but the thing is he's unreliable and will put the team in a bind when he gets suspended inevitably. You have to be reliable and can't have the coaches on this team thinking what the hell is he going to do outside the white lines, they learned that with Foster and it looks like they won't go down that road again

I read that he was also suspended for something other than weed. It was on a few 49er podcasts as well so he's not the most reliable person. I loved his talent but I simply would only want to sign him at this point so Seattle doesn't get him again.

Moss was pretty decent with the 49ers.

Wonder if they're going to transition to a higher-tempo, pass-oriented offense this year? There aren't really a lot of spectacular players on this list, but there are a lot of really solid ones.
