If this isn't done by tomorrow Lynch is back on the bottom 10 GM's list for me!

There's no way we get him he will just be assigned thee Ed franchise tag or sign to a long-term deal. The only way he's going to leave is if he demands a trade then we can start talking about it but until then there's no chance in hell.

Since 2016 (including postseason):

Dee Ford: 54 games, 34 sacks, 12 FF, 4 PD, 0 FR, ($17.67M per year for four seasons)
Joey Bosa: 53 games, 41 sacks, 6 FF, 1 PD, 2 FR, ($14.36M in 2020, 2021 franchise tag will be at least $20M)

Honestly? Dee Ford + #31 overall in a hypothetical trade would be plenty IMHO. Especially if Joey holds out and/or demands more than what the Chargers are willing to give.

Chiefs basically traded Dee Ford + #29 overall for Frank Clark (they got a minor boost in the 3rd round, too, so value wise it was essentially the same as Dee Ford + #31 overall).

Frank Clark from 2016 to 2018 (including postseason):

50 games, 34 sacks, 8 FF, 4 PD, 4 FR, 1 INT (immediately signed for $21.1M a year)

Obviously Joey Bosa is better than Clark, but the production is very comparable.

I ain't letting the Chargers touch #13 overall in a potential trade.

I like Joey Bosa but I'd rather just keep Ford(who I really like) and our top pick instead of trading heavy draft compensation AND paying Bosa a ton....

For example, I wouldn't be interested in trading Dee Ford and our 13th pick for him....Ford plus our 31st and I'd consider it.

I think this is a really good draft though and that's why I'm totally cool with sticking with Ford and our picks.
