I've been focusing on these kinds of moves for the last 3 years. We have blown a ton of cap space on injured fliers and moneyball players. Most have been smaller deals and we had tons of cap space up until now which is why I never listed them and why nobody noticed them much BUT there is a real trend of wasting lots of cap space on poor low end deals that have added up to big cap losses with zero return.

You saw that with Breida and Bourne this year on the second round tender locking in $6.4M on overvalued players while tight up at the cap. Tom Compton.
