This is what happens when you make splashy moves to satisfy your fans instead of going through the process.
So Houston basically got a 2nd and a cap problem (Johnson) in exchange for Hopkins. I'll generously ignore swapping the 4ths for now since it works against them anyway. And then gave a 2nd for Brandin Cooks?

So the net is Hopkins & a late round 2nd for Cooks, Johnson, and an early 2nd?

Patriots have sabotaged another team just like they did with their spy Josh McDaniels

That's absolutely ridiculous.

Will the Rams get that $38 million in dead money moved to cap space next season once the dead money is off the books? Or is it actually more than $38 million in total dead cap space this season since that is only 2 players worth of dead money?

BoB is almost certainly on his way out, and has made that job unattractive to potential candidates for next year.

Greg Roman is a perfect fit for the Texans job next year. Hell he was on the original 2002 staff.

Not really. Aside from not having a 1st, they have cap space and a franchise QB. That's more than a lot of these bad rebuilding teams.

Yeah in the short term, but they just got bailed out of a bad contract. Plus there was no way they were going to be able to afford Cooks, Woods, and Kupp.

They're just as bad as mismanaging picks and players as Bill O'Brien. Not scared of the Rams at all. Like I said, at least Cooks is outta the NFCW, one less play maker the 9ers gotta worry about.
Did we sign anybody yet?

Yup, how to sink a franchise in just a few easy steps.

No 1st this year.
No 1st or 2nd next year.

Watson, Tunsil, Stills and Fuller all FA's. Took on terrible contracts in Cooks and David Johnson. And BoB is still in house and may be the one who reups some of those deals.

Not sure the higher profile candidates will even want to interview for them IMO.
