Won't help, he'll be suspended at least 4 games. Plus Guice has yet to do much of anything in the NFL, injury prone.

Yeah Guice is turning out to be exactly what I didn't expect, thought he'd be a great back in Washington

Along with Donte Moncrief, JJ Nelson and Luke Falk.
I remember when people were advocating 49ers take him in round 1.

Free agent Ziggy Ansah turned down an offer from the 49ers.

The 49ers were only willing to give him the veteran minimum ($910K). Ansah is coming off an injury filled 2019, playing 30 percent of snaps over 11 games. He's unlikely to get much guaranteed money.

Wow so the 9ers tried to low ball Ansah, rightfully so. Ansah has a hard time staying healthy, why should the 9ers give him more. But I won't deny their was incentives in his deal to earn a little bit more.

for the millionth time.. neither one of those guys ever were in the dog house of any coach we have had here... thus the difference in my opinion

Agreed CC

Right now James and Deebo aren't guaranteed to be there week 1, so now you're really down to six WR's and the group looks even worse now. Next you're banking on the health of an injury prone receiver in Trent Taylor who's missed almost 18 games since 2018. Again I'm not holding my breath for this group. This is pretty much the same group of receivers the 49ers had last season and they still traded for Emmanuel Sanders.

you said nothing wrong

But he did. It's only the same group if you assume Deebo, Hurd, and Taylor will all stay injured this coming season.

I think that's a bigger leap to assume that then 1-3 of them remain healthy.

Seems I got two outta three. Yah I'm not patting myself on the back or anything. So far though since this post they've brought in Jaron Brown, Tavon Austin, JJ Nelson, River Cracraft and Kevin White. Holy smokes!!

So no James, Hurd and Deebo is iffy for week 1. With no OTA's and mini camps I expect more injuries throughout the season. I think the 49ers will definitely Trade for a WR depending on who's available.

The disagreement was that you said they should trade for someone when they had 3 more (potentially) quality bodies than last year before Hurd went down.

Now Hurd (IR), Deebo, Aiyuk, Nelson, and James are out. All you did was correctly predict the injury to Hurd. Congrats, we still didn't trade for anyone before those injuries and we still won't trade for anyone barring any more injuries you may predict.

I'm talking about how I wouldn't hold my breath of the previously mentioned receivers stating healthy. And the line up possibly being different when the final 53 come out.

I still don't doubt that they'll look to trade for someone.

The only reason I believe we don't trade for anyone is we already are out our third pick next year and we gave up our third and fourth this last year so I really doubt we're going to give up any draft capital unless it's a total bargain. I would think we would trade for a center before a wide receiver at this point.
Well Anthony Zettel was released by the Vikings, could the 49ers bring him back in?
