2020 free agency

Mohamed Sanu ? Great veteran, but unsure why he was released, and I believe he worked with Shanahan his 1st and shanahans last season with ATL.

I would def sign Sanu if we have another injury or want to move on from Pettis

I'd bring him in definitely too, a great veteran who always played hard and smart, assuming he didn't do something wrong to get released lol keep 6 WRs on the roster...Deebo, Aiyuk, Bourne, Sanu, Taylor, Pettis. Jennings and either Austin or White to the PS.
Barring an injury, it would make a lot of sense to bring in Sanu.

He's familiar with the system, with Kyle, would bring some veteran leadership.

Also, weren't we mentioned in trade rumors for him last year?

This. 49ers pursued him last year. I think they absolutely give him a look if they feel that the cost will be reasonable. Solid veteran possession receiver.
Unless his ankle is severely fkd up I think they will make a check in on him. A healthy Sanu would be nice. Then all you f**kers can stop jacking off about Hurd and Jennings.

Prince Amukamara released by the Raiders. 31 year old that's been around the block. I think he'd make dependable backup.

With the inevitable injury to a certain CB, I would prefer this signing over keeping a guy like Johnson.

To play devils avocados, the Raiders just had their starting CB go down for the season. So if the Raiders are cool with letting him walk even though they are thin at CB that has to make you think.

Same can be said for Sanu. Why would a team who just gave up a 2nd rd pick less than a year ago cut him a week before the season starts? Money? Maybe but its not like he was exactly breaking the bank on a team who was already loaded at the position.
Sidney Jones could be added for some CB depth

Mario Edwards Jr would be a solid addition to the practice squad.

Because he's slow and he can't separate.

I know some here will try to argue that was the knock on Boldin but he had top notch physicality that Sanu simply can't match.

Matt Gay would be a nice addition. Gould ain't getting younger and Gay will only get better.

Please no. Gay missed a few Too many kicks Last year and kickers can be good until late in their 30's. Especially Gould

Well, Gould is 37. Percentage wise Gould was 74% for the season. Gay was 77. Gould missed all his kicks longer than 50.

Not saying Gay is better but I do think he'd be someone we can stash in case.
