Michael Lombardi tweeted the 49ers have made Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander, Jaquaski Tartt along with Marquise Goodwin available for trade.
IMO it's Draft season BS.
Ford: Only would happen if they have a trade for Joey Bosa or signing Clowney-highly unlikely he's traded
Kwon: No chance, just restructured deal meaning big dead cap hit. Kwons staying put.
Tartt: I could see this with Moore playing FS & Ward SS but don't expect it.

Well those guys are all hurt a lot. They don't play much. So shifting them out I could understand. That said when they are healthy they make us better. Also I don't know whether other teams want to take on players who are injured a lot. Why would they want that at high salaries?

Trading Kwon after restructuring his contract makes zero sense
Trading Dee Ford given his dead cap hit and no replacement after seeing how much we need that 2nd edge rusher opposite Bosa makes no sense
Trading 3 defensive starters after that unit was best in the league and got us to the SB in the name of cap room when the caps about to go way up makes even less sense.

Ford might be a dud. I'd be surprised if he plays more than 6 games. This knee condition that hes got is probably worse than they're letting on.
