The nice thing is that sitting at #12, the 49ers are in a good position to move in any number of directions. Need an edge rusher? There's some intriguing prospects there. Same thing with CB, OL, potentially TE if Pitts drops and there's always the possibility of trading down, especially if its for a CB later in the 1st or early 2nd. Stokes of Georgia is a guy I like a lot in particular.
I think Lynch and Co. understand the importance of having a threat opposite Bosa (AA ain't it). If given the choice between Lawson with young CBs, or Verrett with an unproven LDE, they go with Lawson (or some established Edge player) and a re-vamped CB crew. I may be overestimating what Verrett can get on the open market. What I hope they don't do is be patient with Ford's "rehab".
