Apparently they structured it as a 5 year deal with the final 3 years as voidable years, so he only counts $3.5 million against the cap this year.

Very True. A one hit 8.5 sack season isn't a huge draw compared to some of the talent out there. Bring him back and get another pass rusher. 💰
