You know, the guy who always gives Mahomes problems. Wasn't Blackmon just coming off of IR at the end of the season??

Blackmon had a shoulder issue end of the year. Sounds like if they made the playoffs he could have played. I was a fan of him during the draft process.

5 years younger and played some of his best ball this yr. I think signing him would mean they still would like to give Huf a long-term deal. Simmons will be expensive and we can pay two S top cash.

But man, his injury history is a scary one. He just visited the Bills, wonder why they decided to go the Mike Edwards route who only started 5 games last season?

But yah, been watching a bunch of 49ers podcast and they all been saying Simmons is going to want a lot of money. Which is probably the reason why he hasn't been in for a visit.

I'm curious what the situation with Gipson is going to be. He talked about retiring last season, and hadn't planned on playing the full season before that. I assume he either retires now, or signs with us 1 more year. I don't see him going anywhere else. Ik now Justin Simmons was the big hope, but if he is going to be that expensive - Blackmon does not look like a bad option. He's a hitter, that also tackles well. And can cover. Would give us flexibility with him starting as FS and Huff at SS, with Brown backing up both spots. Huff could even gointo sub LB on passing downs, to fill in where Greenlaw would have been. but with Blackmon having injury history and Huff coming off one, I'd feel better with Gipson back as insurance.

If Gip was coming back, I think we would already have seen a deal done. Unless they run out of options and ask him to play for them again.
Better not let him leave.

Around that time Reebok made Mike Nolan a suite to wear on the sidelines. Lol
Come on Lynch! Take him to dinner and do what you need to do to get him here.
Remember the posts for someone to call the Marriot to see if a player was staying
What about Quandre Diggs? Good safety for lower price. Ball hawk and good tackler. Dalton Risner doesn't have much interest but he would be upgrade at guard and Feliciano could move to center.
