No.
Why not?? Alexander makes alot of money and more than likely we will part ways with him at the end of this season amyways also warner and Greenlaw are more than capable of taking over his role
My issue is this dudes demanding a trade cause his team signed Hooper but he's still presumably the #1 TE. I can't imagine he'd be to happy being teamed up with the George

Watch the Giants swap Evan Engram for him.

This dude missed a lot of time with a concussion... something I'd keep an eye on if I where looking at him in a trade

The idea reminds me of the Vernon Davis Delanie Walker duo but better, that being said no way would i do it we have to much work to keep this team together and I like the TE we picked up in the draft he isn't a receiving threat but he's a mauler at blocking

Is that why he asked for a trade?? I think it's more so to do with him being like the 6th guy on offense that would get the ball after Odell Jarvis hooper Chubb and hunt..i don't think him not being a #1 TE is the problem I think it's that he knows he won't get many targets with all of those guys on offense and one ball.. that won't be a problem with us.. after kittle the targets are up in the air for someone to step up and get them and he's a big body red zone target that we can use.. but once again it all depends what the browns want for him but I would love him as a #2 TE for us

might consider a 7th. I'm no cap expert, but he's guaranteed 6 million next season. 49ers need to hold onto draft capital for cost controlled contributors.

Deebo kittle aiyuk
taylor/bourne(3rd down safety net)
Juszczyk
Would all be ahead of him in targets and touches or snaps.and minus taylor they all probably block better too.

WHY ?? the guy will just ruin the chemistry of the offense when he's there.. Grappy will be forced to look his way and it can get bad.
Also, I think there'll be a problem with who's going to end up making more between this talented kid over NFL's BEST !!!
IT'S A NO NO FOR ME..
We can get a veteran backup who will never mind his role..

C'mon really?? Our fb and backup rb and 4th wr would not be ahead of him in targets.. he would be kittle debo and ayuik he would be our next best passing option and once again he is very athletic and has alot of room to grow and a systematic coach like shanny could get the best out of him.. he would be a gigantic upgrade in our #2 and he is a big body red zone target that we currently lack.. he's on his rookie contract and was a first rounder so we can extend that 5th year if we want.. I'm not saying give up our first or 2nd round for him but we can absolutely use him.. shanny obviously has some kind of idea with another TE to go along with kittle that's why we went after engrahm howard and Hooper in the off-season and even tho those guys are better than njoku he has A LOT of untapped potential and has had the absolute worst coaching in his first couple years in the league.. think about the browns coaches he's played under and he hasn't played nearly well enough for a first rounder but he has had some decent numbers considering the coaching and QB play he's had.. even tho we did add a first round WR to replace Sanders our weapons in the passing game could use another weapon and not just another wr to thrown in the mix

What makes u think he wont mind his role?? Cuz he asked for a trade once?? It's not like he's a problem every week or asked for a trade every team hes been on or starting fights in the locker room left and right.. you are vilifying his like he's some troublemaker or locker room cancer and all he did is ask for a trade
