Mid season trade targets this year

I'd see if the Cowboys would take anything for Aldon Smith.

Of course if he's sent to us he'll implode

I don't think making a move on Ross would be worth it, unless Shannahan wants to make him WR 3. Maybe if Borne went down, but I don't see Ross getting on the field on this team. We have Kittle, Aijuk, and Deebo, plus Shannahan almost always keeps the RB in, especially McKinnon and Coleman whom he considers hybrid scat backs that could play wide out. If anyone should take the chance on Ross, it's the Bills who could benefit from his speed. I don't see Ross as enough of an upgrade to take the risk. I'm kind of tired of trying to rely on oft injured players, and after Dee Ford, I don't want to trade for someone with a long injury history.

JJ Watt is intriguing, but I can't immagine him not retiring a Texan. He has one more year left on his deal with no guaranteed money, but what do we really have to offer in return for their face of the franchise. I'd be more nervous if they were willing to move on from him. He doesn't lose much value being traded in the offseason. We would have to move some numbers around to make this work.

Von Miller is a name that could help us if we made a playoff push. Last year of his contract on a rebuilding Broncos Team. Not sure how much gas he has left in the tank.

Brandon Scherff is an interesting option. I think he has a 1 year guaranteed salary, which might mean he might not be a hit for us? I forget how that works. However, he just returned from IR, and the Redskins are not looking like contenders. He's a 28 year old guard. Apparently the Redskins offered him 13 mil a year. If he refuses and they know they can't resign him, maybe we can score him for a bargain.

Vic Beasley might be able to help with the pass rush, and LB depth. Titans don't seem to be using him. Would be a huge gamble, but a risk we might be able to afford to take.

Von Miller's out for the year my man

LoL, should be a steal then! My bad. The pipe dream was getting Joey Bosa! I'd give up a first and a high contract player to offset the salary like Ward. Have them throw in Adderly too for Pettis! Boom. Fire up the Madden

Why? They're the best team in the NFC East and will run away with the division.

We get Watt... we send them Armstead - Pettis - Spoon and a 3rd!!

or lets spice things up even more...

I'll send them Armstead, Pettis and a 2nd rounder that can turn into a 1st rounder if we make the Super Bowl and Watt plays 80% for the rest of the year !!

Definitely want Mack. Need to figure how to trade a mid round pick for Mack and extend him and Trent Williams. Maybe throw in Dee Ford with that pick.

I didn't look at their cap until just now but, It's not exactly a Madden trade. Mack is about to have his contract expire and ATL needs a soft reboot, especially on defense. If you end up losing Mack, which they probably will based on their cap, wouldn't it make sense to at least get something for him. I'll admit, I didnt realize he was 34 And that they've drafted his potential successor anyway Nd that their cap was so bad so none of tht even matters.

You didn't look at our cap situation either. Before we restructured Laken Tomlinson's contract today we were only 31K under the Cap. Even after the restructure that only freed up 1.3 mil which is clearly not much.

Oh. Nah. I'm looking at 2021. It says like 11mil so I was basing it off of that. Maybe I'm wrong though.
