Mid season trade targets this year

Agreed.

I'm good with saying goodbye to a 1st, 33 year old Williams and another random FA. I would throw in Samuel or Aiyuk in, whichever the saints would want too.

This Franchise has been blessed with 2 of the top 4 WR of all time in Rice and Owens, we could use another great one.

Thomas isn't Jerry rice. He's not a downfield threat. No I'm not moving on from a top 5 LT. I'm certainly not moving on from a rookie WR that's looks like a legit player on a rookie contract.

This isn't madden dude. We aren't a possession WR away from the SB. This makes the team worse not better imo.

This is something to look at, $1.85M cap hit this yr. bring him back to the west coast. Doubt it would cost a ton either.

lol Thomas isn't "Jerry Rice in his prime"

and imagine being willing to give up a 1st rounder, an all pro LT, Deebo or Aiyuk and MORE for Thomas. hahahahaha! i really hope youre never the GM of the Niners.

This is Thomas Statline for his 4 seasons.

473 Rec
5,529 Yards
11.7 Avg
32 TDs

I never said Thomas is Jerry Rice. I said Thomas is the #1 WR in the league and in his Prime. It is like having the opportunity to trade for Jerry in his Prime.

It is gonna cost minimum 2 1sts. Your essentially giving up 1st Rounder Aiyuk plus a 1st round pick. Williams can be replaced for a season with Justin Smile who played well in place of Staley last year. Let's not act like Williams is a 25 year old LT. Comon

youre willing to give up WAAAAAAAAY too much for Thomas. in the real world, it's ridiculous. is your alt account 9moon?

We aren't a down the field offense. He would fit perfect in this offense.

I'm not here to try and convince someone who likes being mediocre and getting mediocre results.

If you get an opportunity to trade for the best WR in the NFL you do it. Especially in today's passing league. Period. I'm done with this debate. It probably won't happen anyway, I am not wasting my energy.

Jamal Adams and Jalen Ramsey cost 2 first round picks and they are Safety's. Again, this trade probably won't happen. I only bring it up because there is talk about him being traded which is insane by the saints.

Again, I am done with this debate. It is fruitless.

Who's Justin Smile? No he didn't play well...play makers are not an issue with this team, losing their best lineman and at the very least a 1st plus tacking on top end money when they have none isn't smart imo. They already paid a ton to a top end possession receiver in Kittle.

but youre adding in an all-pro LT and more. i could understand arguing a 1st and Aiyuk but you went crazy with adding in more players. Micheal Thomas isn't worth that much.

They already have a elite possession receiver in kittle who's make a f**k ton of money...imo He's not the best WR in football. He's not a 3 level WR. He plays primarily from the slot and rarely runs routes downfield.

It's a dumb debate I will agree with that, pointless because it would be dumb based on the young cheap WRs they have invested in, money they gave Kittle, and giving up valuable draft picks that this team strapped of money needs.

I never added Williams dude. Someone said we wouldn't be able to sign him next year and I said I am willing to lose him.

And Calling me 9Moon is a personal insult.

I'm not giving up Aiyuk and a 1st either...people need to understand what this team is dealing with regarding cap space and how many FAs we need to pay in the next yr or 2.

It was all a BS tweet anyway, Thomas isn't gonna get moved the Saints would have to pay up on DM and would asked for stupid compensation. Not really worth a debate

I would definitely debate you that He is the best WR in the NFL. The guy just caught 150 receptions and 1700 yards and he isn't the best Receiver in the NFL? Ok man

Dude he got forced fed the ball lol. Like 185 targets. He avg like 11.6 YPC which was like 70th in the league. So great he's a good slot WR and possession WR. He's not burning by anyone. He's not making plays downfield. Great for fantasy we all get that. I like him top 5 and throw him in the same category as say Keenan Allen (mostly slot WRs).

I'll take Jones and Nuk over him all day long. Those are 3 level WRs.

If he's the best WR in football, why are the Saints trying to move him? let someone else burn a big chunk of their cap space and give up ridiculous cap space for a possession WR.

Im fine with our playmakers.
