Mid season trade targets this year

We can debate all we want. But with no cash, our big FA this year is named Jack Schitt.
Assuming healthy, I'd put MT at 4 behind nuk, Jones, and tae. Because Jone's health can't be depended on, id take him as a top 3 WR. I do think nuk is the best wr right now tho.
He's a great player and there isn't a team that wouldn't love to have him, that said SF has much more important things to worry about in 2021 outside of a elite possession WR who's making stupid money.

Nuk is my favorite WR I also love Davante adams. He can play all over the field.
Regardless it's fantasy land talk

This is something to look at, $1.85M cap hit this yr. bring him back to the west coast. Doubt it would cost a ton either.

This on the other hand is something to look into

Dude he got forced fed the ball lol. Like 185 targets. He avg like 11.6 YPC which was like 70th in the league. So great he's a good slot WR and possession WR. He's not burning by anyone. He's not making plays downfield. Great for fantasy we all get that. I like him top 5 and throw him in the same category as say Keenan Allen (mostly slot WRs).

I'll take Jones and Nuk over him all day long. Those are 3 level WRs.

If he's the best WR in football, why are the Saints trying to move him? let someone else burn a big chunk of their cap space and give up ridiculous cap space for a possession WR.

Im fine with our playmakers.

No s**t he is going to get force fed the ball. He has great hands and he had 572 yards YAC. Something that is definitely praised around these parts.

Why does someone have to be a burner type to be considered the best WR? That makes no sense either. We get it, you like a deep threat WR, but being a Possession WR is better. Your not gonna throw deep every single time you drop back to pass. This isn't Madden dude.

In 2019, the next leading Receiver had 119 catches and that was Mccaffrey, a RB. Thomas had 150. Big gap.

Thomas also had 1725 yards the fifth highest single season total in NFL history. That is impressive.

Yeah Julio Jones WAS better. He is also what 32 years old or so.

Your reasoning makes no sense regarding the Saints trying to trade him. Deandre Hopkins who you prefer was traded for a second round pick and he is a top 2-3 receiver. Thomas isn't untouchable and the saints are in cap hell too with about 7 million in space. Maybe the saints are in rebuild mode. Who knows. Teams do dumb things.

I like this kid coming out of UCLA, he's young and if they trade him to us, maybe he can resurrect his career.

Yup. Fits well in W9 and don't break the bank

Nah totally disagree, it's all about being a complete WR. He's great at what he's asked to do in NO. If we forced feed Kittle 185 targets he could feting 1,500+ yards

I know you disagree. That is your only argument you have left, when I am throwing out stats and facts. Just because you disagree doesn't make you right. It then just becomes your opinion. And that is cool, everyone deserves to have their own opinion.

When you say that Thomas is force fed the ball like he is the Saints only receiver and they have no other weapons, that would be false also. Check it out: 2019 NO Saints Receiving stats

A. Kamara- 97 Targets 81 Rec 533 yds
L. Murray- 43 Targets 34 Rec 235 yds
T. Hill- 22 Targets 19 Rec 234 yds
T. Ginn- 56 Targets 30 Rec 431 yds
M. Thomas- 185 Targets 149 Rec 1725 yds
J. Cook- 63 Targets 43 Rec 705 yds
J. Hill- 35 targets 25 Rec 225 yds
T. Smith- 25 Targets 18 Rec 234 yds

As you can see through the stats, the ball is well spread out between several guys and Thomas is not being "force fed" the ball. He is clearly the #1 receiver and targeted and produces as such.

I'm willing to risk it all for Stephon Gillmore.

The only way I can think of to get into the ball park would be to trade Sherman for Gilmore.

OTC shows 2020 cap hit as: Gilmore at $23M per year and Sherman at $13.

A player under the radar I wish the Texans would trade the niners is Jacob Martin, a 6th rd pick Seattle took and traded I believe in the Clowney trade, he's young and not expensive, Would be a nice pick up IMO.

If the 9ers don't trade for anyone else I just hope the 9ers trade away Dante Pettis or Ahkello Witherspoon!!!

CJ Beathard would also make me happy.....if traded!!!!
