Mid season trade targets this year

Really, how so?

Welker may be a different body type, but the routes ran and the area worked is the same. And the production is near identical.

His 6 years in NE.
93 78 926 672 7459 11.1 37 388 99 7.2 80.2 72.6% 8.1

93 games 926tgts 672rec 7459yds 11.1avg

Thomas 4 years in NO. Plus 1 game this year.
64 58 607 473 5529 11.7 32 307 72 7.4 86.4 77.9% 9.1

64 GAMES 607tgts 473rec 5529yds 11.7avg

10 tgts per game, 7 catches, 80yds, 11yds per catch.

And keyshawn i think is a near perfect twin. Get the catch maybe a few extra yards, occasionally have some extra space for more YAC. Hell even his career trajectory might be the same, 4 years and get kicked out.

God damn, F you(not YOU but you like everything)i had a post that just got wiped out somehow.

i compared 2019 thomas to 2009 wes welker and 2001 keyshawn johnson. Showing how identicsl they were percentage wise. The only difference was johnson had a much lower catch rate, but it is much harder to catch a poorly thrown ball when you can get hit while outstretched for(no defensless receiver nonsense)

Then to 2000 terrel owens. Once again catch rate is the difference in thomas' favor. But everything else, owens wrecked him.

I could not get the avg depth per target, but i figure all 4 are close enough.

Then i was going to do marvin harrison, megatron, and julio when i lost the damn post.

What's your point in comparing Thomas to T.O. ?

T.O. is a top 2-3 Receiver of all Time. I said Thomas is the best WR in the Game the past few years.

Keyshawns had 180 targets on 106 Catches for 1244 yards and 1 TD vs 185 targets 150 catches 1725 yds 9TDs. Just stop. He is more Crabtree than Thomas.

Again, I am done debating this s**t about a non 49er in Thomas. If you want to see my stance and debate with NYniner85 go back a few pages to check it out.
Just go after Aldon, Kerrigan is probably too expensive. This is a new regime, Aldon seems to have his head straight it's all on Jed if he wants him back in his organization and I don't think he'll get in the way of John and Kyle's moves
He is not worth $20m. And sure as hell is not worth a 1st round pick. Nor do i think he is worth a 2nd rounder.

If he joins the niners, who loses their touches to him? The niners last year had a total of 467 targets, thomas had 180 himself. Split that in half 90tgts,
Kittle loses some(17 so 90 himself)
Bourne loses all of his (44)
Sanders targets go to aiyuk so 53
Deebo had 81
RBs stay around 80
Juice around 20
420 targets right there, leaving 60 for bourne, reed, dwelley, etc.

Now you have a WR with 75 catches 860yds 6TDs and he is the highest paid player. But if we take bourne and give him the targets 60 catches 710yds and 7TDs.

What is 15rec for 150yds a season worth?

My point to TO, TO worked the short to intermediate area as well, but he was a YAC guy who was dangerous with the ball in his hand( like deebo, kittle, and aiyuk). thomas is a possession WR who works the same area as our current weapons but provides little they do not have(slightly more consistent hands).

There are many WRs in the NFL that can do what thomas does, they just do not have the space and volume to work with.

On board with this. He will not cost much, and i think covid may work to his benefit.
Shanny can manufacture points with just about anyone in his offense. This team needs to pressure the opposing QB when the game's on the line. Aldon Smith please.

Aldon Smith is doing a solid job in Dallas, why would they wanna trade him?? Sure he only has 2 sacks, but he can still put the heat on a QB.
I see a lot of trade articles involving Quinnen William's for a 2nd round pick... How would him and Kinlaw pair up in the middle?

I'd be down for the redemption arc of Aldon Smith

I believe he has 4 sacks..he had 3 against Seattle. If I am Dallas I would see what I can get for him. Just don't trade him to Seattle. His value is at a high right now and I don't think he'll get better next year. Sadly, have to be concerned he'll succumb to his addiction again. Dallas is a mess Lol
I think we are riding with what we have this season. Would like to see a move for Kerrigan or possibly pick up a veteran who is cut that can contribute. Probably just waiting to get back our troops back. Obviously losing Bosa was a a killer but we are still gonna make a run at it this year!

Because they're not going anywhere, if they lose to Philly today they should be selling. Jerry's ego is so big he still thinks his team is a SB caliber team so at the end of the day I don't think they'll trade him even tho he's a cheap contract and an actual piece they can get something for

Glazer reported they are not trading him.
