He didn't study

I really do like these kinds of moves: Jordan Reed, Jason Verrett, Jonathan Cyprrien, Kevin White & Takk Mckinley

2 of those guys are not like the others

Hard to say yet but the point is to take low fliers on talent no matter the circumstances at the end of your roster and see if any of them rise over time esp. for role positions.

Yup! As long as there's no real cash tied to it and you're not expecting high in contributions from them...all upside with little risk.

Dion Jordan, Jordan Willis, Tom Compton, Brian Allen, Josh Johnson

Verret is the only one I want to see here next year.

Maybe he told the Bengals he won't play for them next year and they used the 'failed physical' approach, lol

It will be interesting he he does pass the 48ers physical.

I remember him coming in hyped on draft day!!! I hope he still that fired up.
Very good signing !!!!

he's going to lead our team in SACKS as long as Saleh just tells him what # the QB is.... better yet, Saleh just need to show him a picture of the opposing QB every Defensive series..

I rather re-sign this guy than bring back FORD !!

Who cares man. Sacking a QB gets you a flag anyway.

This guy is a quality starter at a position of need. A first round talent that has pretty good numbers given he hasn't started every game. Another 1st round talent on our DL that will make it easier to move on from Ford or if not get a good comp pick in return if we can't resign him

If he was a quality starter he wouldn't be getting cut in the middle of the season. He's a bust who's never put it together and this is his last best shot to make an NFL career for himself.
Lol. Ill show you a bust.

2 Guys drafted the same year.

Guy A:
2 Passes defended
2 Forced fumbles
17.5 Sacks
22 TFLs
45 QB Hits

Guy B:
0 Passes defended
0 Forced Fumbles
6 Sacks
16 TFLs
23 QB Hits

One of them was the THIRD overall pick. Can you guess which one that was?

Hopefully we can mold Willis into a decent edge rusher at least.

Can you really call the 26th overall pick a bust with those numbers? Not living up to his draft status yeah but I wouldn't call him a bust, now Thomas being the 3rd overall for that s**t production is. If you're a 3rd overall you better dominate
