With that said, I thought the 49ers were going to try and sidestep this situation somehow. Takk would've brought some good depth and be a push starter in 2021.

Maybe he pointed the physicians toward the troubled points from his last failed phys.

That would certainly expedite the process.

Or...maybe dude just loves the grueling horrors of NFL physicals.

I thought we knew he would fail and just wanted him on the team to start learning and teaching as a head start for next year.

Injury is probably severe enough that he might not be ready to go until well into the offseason.
