Takk McKinley waived (UPDATE 11/20)

Honestly, he'll probably be a Jaguar or Jet. If he were a free agent I'm pretty sure he would love to come back to the Bay.

49ers are #15 on the waiver wire claim, no way he falls that far.

They probably want to stay s**tty, they are in direct competition for Lawrence.

With Ford's future being very uncertain, it would make sense to perhaps reach an injury settlement with Ford and spend the money on Takk. One gamble is not much different than another.

With 13 days to evaluate whether or not he will be healthy enough to contribute, it would make sense to bring him in. I don't know what impact his physical status has on a contract offer.

He has talent. I think at this point where we are you take the risk and claim him. Maybe regains form and can help replace Ford for a lot cheaper price next year

What caused the failed physical? He would be a nice piece on the D line going forward. I hope the Niners put in a claim again.
We are next in the waiver wire order of teams interested enough to put in a claim last week. The Raiders and browns also reportedly put in a claim in addition to us. So we may end up with him

Exactly
So will we find out why he failed the physical prior to being awarded on this next claim?

Takk is a clown. Hopefully, he can pull his head out of his ass. I hope he stays out trouble now that he's likely to be back in the Bay Area.

I remember thinking how much cringe that interview with Deion was and then he cussed. Like I understand you're emotional about being drafted and your grandma but damn my guy was too extra

Yeah, that was one of the more awkward draft moments I've witnessed.
