I kept saying that before all these new reports started popping up over the last couple of days. Everyone else can shuffle money around, but somehow we're stuck and can't afford a guy that was DOMINANT when playing for Shanny? Is he older now? Yes, but he'd also have less on his plate and we could keep our WR's fresher and limit snaps. I see no downside, other than cost, but even that seems to not be outrageous because Atlanta doesn't have any real leverage to get what they want. The cost is going to be a 2nd or 3rd, plus maybe a mid round pick or player like Mostert/Wilson.

Link to that Twitter account saying that?

Thanks. Great now I'm going to fixate on this

This seems like a lot, not sure why Jimmy would redo his deal at all, that would be a pay cut, he's making over $50M from 2021-2022.

Redoing Ward's deal is a terrible idea, it makes it impossible to cut him next year, well not 100%, they'd save like $1.5M if that if cut.

Not sure why Richburg would retire in July, and not June, has to be June 2nd tho.

I do believe Warner signs a new deal, but reports are no talks yet.

I wouldn't be mad if this all happened, and it doesn't f**k the cap up, just worried about the picks it'll take to get Julio. I just think it's far fetched for all of this to happen. But who knows, just seems odd, cause we don't hear any true leaks from this regime.

Nice to see you and NY85 finally starting to come around.

Deebo is reckless and will most likely suffer more injuries than most WRs because of the way he plays, same with Kittle. Jones gives us another starting caliber offensive weapon to keep things going if someone breaks down. we also dont have anyone like Sherm right now to be a team elder who can be their leader. if they can fit it under the cap and only have to give up a couple picks its a no brainer to me. draft picks arent a make or break for us right now, we have a stacked young team thats ready to go right now. win now, its been long enough

All of this. We just have to figure out some deals that we can extend for longer-term to help Fit everyone which I'm sure we can do. Even if the players aren't ideal to keep for another few years it would allow us the freedom to sign Julio and Sherman. We would have depth and be unstoppable on offense and defense have depth on D. All we would need is a cheap veteran edge like Houston

someone will be on the bench and it's either juice or Deebo.

About 1/4 the time(353[29%] in 2019 223[21%] in 2020 ), but not precisely what i said. I said, he will dip in to everyones snaps. Aiyuk and deebo take 5-10 less snaps each, juice takes 5-10 less snaps, kittle takes 5 less snaps.

I figure 12 personnel would be below 5%, 22 personnel will stay around 8%, and 11 personnel will remain around 40% and 21 at 30%. I think 20 personnel will start to exist in the offense maybe around 5%, and 4 WR sets could make an appearance around 5% with deebo aiyuk or hurd being a running threat.

This is just how i can see him changing the offense. Ignoring the financial impact, he is easily fittable without benching anyone, just a few extra breathers to go around.

I'm good on moving on from Sherman, unless he signs for peanuts because no one else is offering him a decent 1 year deal. We simply need to trade Jimmy somewhere like maybe Houston, and give Trey the keys. If Kyle and Mike made RGIII look good in his rookie season, then I'm sure he can put together an offense where Trey doesn't get overwhelmed early as he adjust to the league. He'd also have the deepest set of offensive weapons in the entire league, so that alone would help him.

we dont even need to trade Jimmy this year. if they go for Julio they need to keep him as the starter or as the very least an insurance policy for Lance. Julio could be the last piece to an unstoppable offense

No I get it. I'm just saying someone is going to the butt bench....one of Deebo/Aiyuk or Juice & people need to realize that.

I mean the fantasy football fan in me wants every big name offensive player.

not sure why Jimmy does that deal, but I'd be all for it...people gotta realize that one of Deebo/Aiyuk or juice will be riding the bench a lot more in this scenario.

So you're talking about taking away around 150 snaps a yr for each guy? I mean that's a lot.

We will see. I'll believe it when I see it....they were in the works to trade for Hamilton like a week ago, not sure how you go from that to Julio lol? Everyone knows ATL has been trying to move him for a while too.

The issue is we don't have a lot of guys with big base salaries so they're not able to just m0ve money around, as I said if he'd take a discount for the next 2 yrs in exchange for a new deal, upfront bonus then ok, as long as it doesn't cripple the cap long term, if not, it's a no for me.

If Julio Jones is really on the market and he is, you already know that Shanahan told Lynch to get him.

agreed
im confused why we are in the running for Julio dont get me wrong it would be a great addition but we dont have draft capital and we have 2 young starting WRs that are more than capable of starting

also i dont think its good to trade any of our cornorstone young players for him
