Terrible deal. Saquan is an awful fit for this scheme. One of his biggest flaws is that he dances too much, which is literally the worst attribute of a wide zone RB.

Saquon is the #2 overall pick and balled out his entire career with one injury which he is now recovered. Recall Frank Gore tore his knee twice had the injury red flag we drafted him rest is history. You don't think KS could work with this guy on his technique. He's 6 foot 230 and runs a 4.40. Do you understand how insane that is? Granted it's a bit of a joke trade as NY wants cap space and wouldn't take on JG but we could trade JG for picks and offer picks to NY.

The idea of it costing a third in next years draft is enticing. Him being on the last year of his deal is not. If I recall wasn't Kyle very interested in him in that draft?

Nope.
Unless he can become a prowbowler at RG, RT, LG, or QB.

Yeah we can't afford to waste money or space for an area that isn't an issue. We totally need to address o-line and secondary.
I'm a bit surprised that Barkley could go for a 3 next draft, but they aren't nearly as valuable anymore.

I dont get this part of your argument? Every RB that Shanny has had gets injured in this system and its probably bc they are asked to run as hard as possible through the hole and disregard everything else even their well being.
I'm not opposed to getting him but i'm in the school of thought where you dont pay any type of premium on a running back.

Not a fan of this thread. Mostert has game changing speed and can expose a defense even when they stack the box. But, the idea that the offense is broken is silly. Teams dared JG to beat them over the top by stacking the box and he couldn't. Get a QB that can? And those run lanes open up, thus reducing the need for that world class speed. RB isn't the solution, a QB that can stretch the defense is.

LOL, there's a lot of truth to this. Also, I don't know if it's taught this way(part of me thinks it kind of is because you can't sprint running low), but almost all of the great wide zone RBs run upright, which only leads to more injuries.

the perfect RB for KS is McCaffrey. I don't think either is a realistic option. I agree having Mostert's explosives is great, but its not a necessity in this offense.
The real problem IMO was that when teams stacked the box to stop the run, we couldn't punish them in the pass game. The run game can work just fine(methodical gains to move the chains and wear a D out) if we can keep the defense honest.
