Would Saquon fix the Offense

The real problem IMO was that when teams stacked the box to stop the run, we couldn't punish them in the pass game. The run game can work just fine(methodical gains to move the chains and wear a D out) if we can keep the defense honest.

Correct. But Mostert's explosiveness makes the offense better. Then again, he's only explosive for us a few games out of the year, because he's hurt.
he play RG or RT? Didn't think so

Elijah had a few and Deebo definitely made up for those explosives we missed from Mostert.

IJS, yardage wise, the explosives can make up for the lack of passing, but it does nothing to help the scheme. And eventually opposing teams can sell out to stop the run. We need to make them pay for that. Adding Saquon of even McCaffrey won't change that.
Ya know Kyle would get saquon in open space to break tackles.
Supposedly the consensus cost is a 4th rd pick

Not a fan of this thread. Mostert has game changing speed and can expose a defense even when they stack the box. But, the idea that the offense is broken is silly. Teams dared JG to beat them over the top by stacking the box and he couldn't. Get a QB that can? And those run lanes open up, thus reducing the need for that world class speed. RB isn't the solution, a QB that can stretch the defense is.

When I made this thread the offense was broken... That 3-5 stretch was rough...

Also before saquon had a bad year....

Saquon is mostert level breakaway. Etn would be great as well.

I would trade them...

Trey Sermon and a 5th...

If the Giants are willing to eat half his salary I would consider it. To give Shanahan a potentially elite RB would be exciting. He just doesn't seem like the same player as he has before his injuries

I don't watch many Giants games so this may be untrue. But to his defense I'm assuming when he's healthy he is the focus of the defense. Stacked boxes with a QB worst than Jimmy and a OLine that's not good. I hope Barkley gets to a team that can afford him and utilize him. I'd love to see him on the Chargers.

I watch NY games and he's an athletic freak of nature, when he's healthy. Overall though far too often he dances in the back field and doesn't hit the right hole. I just don't see him as a true fit here.

Go snap a late rd RB and add him to the stable.

Getting a QB who can threaten every area of the field will, though. Which we have done.
Just draft Kyren Williams
at this point i say Saquon is Mostert. Mostert is Saquon.

Mostert should be cheaper.
I would rather underpay for Mostert and use the draft capital required to trade for Barkley to draft a running back. If he gets released, he can sign here. Not trading for him
Nah, he makes too much. I know he has had a bad O-line, but his vision is also mediocre. Too much dancing around in the backfield and getting tackled for a loss.

Nah, you would need to extend him. I'd pass.
