I don't think he gets moved unless he forces it. Jordan Love stinks. He would've been gone if Love was at least 75-80% percent of #12.

Even if Rodgers falls off in two years, it doesnt really matter. But it depends on so many things, like whether or not he even wants to come here and what not. Its not really even worth discussing.
We didn't start the process of hollowing out the roster for Buckner and I don't think that we will do it for the best qb in the league bearing in mind that he may only play one more year, or possibly not even that. And Rodgers, a truly fine qb, could not compensate at Green Bay for the effect on their roster of his salary. One super bowl in all those years. It isn't going to happen, thankfully.

Build a time machine
Cause him to win the Rose Bowl with Cal (ranked)
Ensure he gets drafted by the Miami Dolphins
Braylon Edwards...49ERS

Rodgers can opt out of his contract this year. If he wants out of GB and wants to be a 49er, he can do that himself and we wont have to spend any draft capital. I think its very possible he opts out if GB doesnt make it to the SB. He wants to win more SBs and if LaFLeur cant get him there once again, Rodgers will be open to somewhere that can get him to the SB.
My dream scenario would be signing Rodgers to a 3-year contract, trading JimmyG for a 2nd, and keeping Trey Lance. Let Trey Lance sit and learn. Once Rodger's contract is up or he decides to retire earlier, its Trey Lance time. Also, we forget that Rodgers has a glass collarbone so Trey Lance would offer us a reliable backup during Rodger's tenure. This would ensure that 49ers own the 2020s and '30s

75-80% of Rodgers is better than 90% of the league lol. Unrealistic

that whole thing was a tease IMO. They never had intentions to trade him unless it was for like idk Bosa, Jimmy, Juice, Two firsts, etc.
ARod never really had intentions to leave unless it's for half a billion.

Where are you seeing he can opt-out after this season? I haven't seen that anywhere.

he can't opt out, but the packers will be at a crossroads, especially with their cap situation

yeah he could definitely force a trade but yeah no way GB trades him to us and no way we give up any additional draft compensation to acquire Rodgers
Probably the only way Rodgers becomes a 49er is if he start Trey Lance next year and he doesnt develop into what we planned on and we go with Rodgers in 2023

I'm curious to see what his life will be like after football. Like him or hate him, he is a very interesting fella with some interesting post retirement goals (at least with being a gameshow host).
Goddamn good qb and his teammates respect the hell out of him so he can't be all bad right?

Lets be real, Rodgers is going to Denver. The Broncos have the defense in place, they have some very good targets for him to throw to, all they really need is a true franchise QB.
And maybe a Head Coach?
The OC from the Packers Nathaniel Hackett has been linked to the Broncos. Rodgers wife lives in Boulder. And let's be real Boulder is Rodgers personified.
Think you mean Rodgers is Boulder personified. After all, Rodgers is the person. Anyways, I doubt there is any way to make it happen, but if it did, I'd only be happy with it under these circumstances: Rodgers comes to SF to win a couple more trophies and solidify his legacy. In those 2 years, he works just as hard helping to prepare Trey as he does helping us win. After 2 years, Trey would still be young, 23 or something. Rodgers would be 40. He would get to play for his favorite team, we would get 2 more trophies, Trey would be as prepared as anyone to take over at 23 and we keep the train rolling for the next 15.
Again, tons of variables that have little chance of happening. Would Rodgers do it on the cheap? Would GB even trade him to us? Would Rodgers be ok with that? If all of those are yes, that would be a dream scenario.

I doubt this happens, the 49ers don't have the money to pay Aaron, plus retain key players like DJ, Arden, Laken, K'Waun, and others, plus extend Dre, Deebo, & Bosa. Plus I doubt the Packers send him to us, but he would/should get to choose where he wants to go to, but they likely want multiple 1st's, along with 1 or 2 players, not gonna just be Trey for Aaron.
