Aaron Rodgers for 5 years?

Rodgers can still ball, the Pack gave him no weapons and he still performed. Jimmy G can't stay on the field, Lance can't get to the starting gate, Purdy may need Tommy John. These our are QB prospects. If Shanahan and Lynch are so hungry for a SB check out Brady or Rodgers. If not, I'm sure Josh Johnson will still be on the market.

I would love Rodgers and we would be favorites with him if we can stay f**king healthy but no way GB traded him here, we add that 50 mil or have the capital to acquire him
No team Rodgers is on will win a SB. The dude is selfish and expect max contracts. You can't put the talent around him to make it to the SB, much less win one.

"I'm not going to San Fran."
Also, this was enjoyable.
Looks like a very real shot here that Rodgers to NYJ is an actual thing

SF can get him won't be that expensive - Aiyuk and a first?

That's too steep of a price imo.

No to this idea. First off we do not have a first to give and Aiyuk is becoming too valuable to callously trade away.

Packers aren't trading him inside the NFC.

Especially to SF! What's that say about the Packers if Rodgers comes over, plays on a cheap deal and wins one or more SB's with this roster? He gets EXACTLY what he wants, they get to look like the bad guys, and SF gets to look like the better destination when comparing the two (which it is of course, but they don't want real-time proof shown to the world every Sunday).
If the Jets are smart, they use the picks that they're about to give up for Rodgers and move up in the draft. Save the money for next 5 yrs and build around the QB they choose. Rodgers would very likely bring a title to the 49ers but what would you trade away to get him?
Aaron is not the same person. That and he commands such a large salary that you will have to jetison a lot players. Why do you think the Packers could never field a lot of talent around him. He commands to much salary. That and the face that he is always year to year-will he or won't he play. So it is not just giving up draft/ players to get him, but trading players away. Then as we saw-in the last few years, in the playoffs, Aaron is shadow of his former self-even with a pro bowl receiver still there at the time.

He is the anti Brady-Tom commanded money, he could have asked for more, but didn't cause he wanted to be surrounded by as much talent as he could.
