Boom considering the 9ers cap situation!!!! There's your answer right there, it was definitely a low ball. Stop with bias.
It wasn't a low ball. No one but the 49ers and Raiders showed any interest in him. It was an over the hill player overvaluing himself.
No it was a low ball, most veteran players on the bench make more than a mil and he started 8 games for the Raiders so I wouldn't say he's too over the hill.
If he wasn't overvaluing himself why was he unsigned for so long? Keep in mind he finally signed a contract less than a week before the regular season opener.
How was he overvaluing himself?? Obviously he got three times more than what Lynch offered him. And coming off a 86 tackle 2 sack 1 FF season, you would think he's worth more than $1 million right. I mean he's not just any ole LB, he does have a history of being more than serviceable.

Pretty obvious. No team wanted him at the price he thought he was worth.
And what price was that?? All it takes is one team to want you or in his case two teams. Like I said he got triple than what he was low balled.
I seriously doubt 1y/3m was the deal he wanted at the start of free agency. That's more than likely the deal he had to settle for after being unsigned for five months.
You still didn't answer the question, what price was that??
Wright know his age and the state of his career, I'm pretty sure he wasn't looking for a 4 year $40 million contract.
