That would be awesome. Wouldn't have to draft a safety early we could draft one 6-7 round for depth.

Great news about Bates. I expected him to big our big FA addition this year with our past interest and Payne tagged.
After the trades, we have picks still for depth. We need to bring in a top starter to replace not having a first which we mess up half the time anyway.
With a rookie QB's contract, we need to make a run at the SB. Restructures to free up space.
FA: S- J Bates
DT -M Ioannidis or DT- D. Tomlinson
OT- A Dillard
C G Bradbury
DE? Z Allen or C Winovich. maybe F Clark off past interest
I think we'll save CB, TE, K, WR for the draft. If we get more picks, maybe draft RT or DT higher.
I could still see us trade for DT - D Payne if available off past interest.
QB pickup that no one wants to talk about or hear something they may not like. This is only covering the possibilities.
We have Lance and Purdy. If we roll with this, a FA pickup would be someone like N Sudfield.
I like Haener in the draft if we roll with these two but we'd have to keep 3 guys and not have a vet.
The rumored names are more experienced vets that will be coming in as the number 2 and can start the year if needed like an Andy Dalton.
I believe it will be B Mayfield we sign. If we do, then Lance would be traded. People won't want to give up high picks for him. Sending him to Washington to Payne would be a possibility. Yes, we'd eat money but restructure Payne on a long term deal.

I'll take Mack, Bates and A'Shawn Robinson. But I don't think Lynch opens up the team wallet for Bates, he knows he can just bring back Tashaun Gipson.

Feels like a lot of veteran edge rushers will be available… I think we make a move there.

Im down for this as well , I would probably trade the Chargers maybe two 3rd rounders and then restructure his contract.or extend him for 1 extra year which could be a team option year which we can give him some upfront but the rest will be in that option year and if its not working out we can release him. Either way we get a player of need and we save money on this years cap.

oops I thought he was a free agent. He'd only be needed for 2 years max.

Rams letting Matt Gay hit FA.
Former college teammate of Wish, now instantly the #1 kicker in free agency.

Are we eligible to put in an offer on Lamar Jackson?
reason I ask is I understand the offering team has to give up 2 ones, and we don't have a one this year.. do we give future ones?
