What the hell is so funny about making a bid for Carr?

Well, he's not that great and he is going to
cost a ton of cap space that we don't have.

Have to love the off-season.

My dream acquisitions, sign Amani Oruwariye from Detroit, sign Dalvin Tomlinson or Matt Ioanniss, Sign Deshon Elliot from Detroit or Trade for Jeremy Chinn ( pipe dream ) look into edge players if we can't resign 2 of ours. I think Ebukam is gone.

Ebukam should be. Or he maybe be back and a much cheaper cost. Willis and CO are just depth guys so they will be resigned or they will bring in similar talent. We need another 8-10 sack guy. Hopefully that's Jackson
Here are some of the players i want with mostly bargains sprinkled in.

DT:
D Payne: Although i think he will be too expensive
A Robinson: he's been a 3-4 DE in the Rams defense but i think he can hold up well in our 4-3 as a DT
D. Tomlinson: He'll be cheaper then Payne but how low would he go? They can probably get creative with his contract
M Ioannidis: my 3rd option who should be affordable

S:
Gardner Johnson: Would be shocked if Eagles let him walk. Younger better version of Jimmie Ward.
J Love: He's a good all around S. Should be somewhat affordable.
R Harrison: Career low pff grade but he took the majority of his snaps in the slot. I'd use him strictly at safety.

DE
C Omenihu: He might get a little high but if i had to choose between him the Ekuban it would be Charles.
M Davenport: He might be looking for a 1 year prove it deal. What better place to come opposite N Bosa?
Z Allen: Good all around bigger DE. Would be a good fit as he can play everywhere like Omenihu

Other positions of need i'd probably draft for or resign what we have.

Hoping Hargraves or Payne become the Ward like signing this off season. We really need another legit DT next to AA

CJ Gardner-Johnson next to Huf.

Gonna be expensive: $10-12mill/year. Love, Adderly, Thornhill, or Edmunds? Probably cheaper.

Rather keep Gipson over all of those guys

Actually fine with that.
What do you guys think about Caleb McGary replacing McGlinchey is he goes somewhere else. Would you see that as an improvement?

From what i read McGary excels at run blocking but not good at pass blocking. When i say not good i mean worse than big Mike.

Guess it comes down to salary. Just how much cheaper would McGary be then resigning Mike?

So you want to pay a huge salary for someone who would be a 3rd string QB here? LOL
Norman gonna follow Wilks back from CAR to SF and balls will get punched

I would love Dalvin Tomlinson, he's just what the 49ers need in the middle of the D-line. But I doubt he's what Kocurek wants on his wide-9.

McGary is Trent Williams-good in RBLK. He and McGlinchey are rated even in PP.

Spotrac estimates McGary's market value to be $17.7M/yr to McGlinchey's $14.8M/yr. Overall, McGary would be an upgrade but if we can't afford McGlinchey, can we afford McGary?

If we resign Norman I'll definitely punch myself in the balls.
