McGary is Trent Williams-good in RBLK. He and McGlinchey are rated even in PP.

Spotrac estimates McGary's market value to be $17.7M/yr to McGlinchey's $14.8M/yr. Overall, McGary would be an upgrade but if we can't afford McGlinchey, can we afford McGary?

Ok, so that kind of take McGary off the table. For some reason I thought McGlinchey was going to be more valuable since McGary only has one good year under his belt. I'd rather keep McGlinchey. I don't see many serviceable starters out there on the market. I think Burford could play right tackle if we needed, and we do have a couple guys on the bench we have been developing.

They don't get much cap relief by releasing him, he could be traded though.

I can dig it. I'd add him and another guy who busted out elsewhere and might just need a change of scenery and coaching. Along with Jackson and Bosa Ebukam and Omenhui weren't' lining up and beating guys. s**t was mostly schemed up. Another guy who can just win off the edge would be ideal.

How about Kyle Allen as QB3? He is on the young side, has a few starts under his belt, with some potential to get better.

I like him. Sucked in HOU but.. that was HOU.. they have nothing to work with there. Quick unload time which KS seems to like. You are on the right track here. Give him our weapons he would look markedly better is my guess.

How would y'all feel about Leonard Floyd or Shaq Barrett if they get cut?

I know armstead is solid for us and really the main interior guy that's good enough for us but if you could put 2-3 m on top of his salary. Wouldn't we want a guy like daron Payne or maybe garbage, would that not be worth the move?

For sure on both

Confused on the 2nd part of your post? Are you saying trade or cut AA then sign Payne? That puts us right in the same spot One good interior guy. AA will probably take a pay cut and hopefully they can find another DJ ones to play beside him. Payne would be ideal to play beside AA but his salary is going to be too much
