Potential sellers for 2023 season

I personally think as long as we are healthy (*knocks on wood*) We will likely have our cap roll over to next year. But we cant rule out a potential trade. I know a lot of people want to trade for a OT but personally, I think our OL is ok and will get better as the season goes on. Also, I cant say this enough no team will ever trade a starting OL midseason no matter how their season is going.

It wouldn't surprise me to see us trade for another pass rusher (not needed but can never have enough) or a CB (little more of a need but I like both our starters). Next year again we have a bunch of draft picks but we may not have that much roster space so a trade for a 1 year rental might make sense.

Some current trade sellers are:
1) Panthers
2) Broncos
3) Vikings (give it a few more weeks)
4) Bears (I think they will be the biggest sellers)
5) Titans

I hope Surtain Jr has enough of that team and asks for a trade. I'd be all over him.
I'd like to see them bring in a CB

Broncos I would find the 5 guys least interested in tackling on Sun and fire all of em in the film meeting
I don't view all those teams as sellers.

Panthers - they just drafted their QB. Now its time to add pieces around him, not get rid of any.

Jets - They still have hope that Rodgers will play next year. Now wouldn't be the time to get rid of anyone. Just got to ride this season out. They actually need to be trading for a QB.

Vikings - a bit too early. Only 2 games out.

youre right on vikings for now but im thinking these guys will be trade sellers down the line

I think panthers want to accumulate as much draft picks as possible this next year to build som talent on offense because they dont have that many weapons. On second thought you might be right on jets
Giants will be a seller. If they can't beat Seattle they'll be 1-5 after trips to Miami and Buffalo. Not sure they can beat Washington or Jets either.

Adoree Jackson should be a target.
Good thread idea, I thought of starting this myself.

I agree with the Giants, Broncos, and Bears being sellers.

Cardinals won't sell to us anyway.
Broncos seem the most likely. Already over the cap for next season and in serious need of cutting deadwood.

Bears have over 100mil of cap space for 2024, Giants 56mil (but a lot of key free agents). They might be willing to sell players who are underperforming but don't have to let go of players who are playing well.

Danielle Hunter makes the most sense from the standpoints of:

1. Immediate impact
2. Significance of impact
3. Short term trade cost
4. Long term financial cost

I'm rooting for the Vikings to lose every week. They'd be smart to move off of Kirk and Hunter before the end of the season.

Not sure what a productive pass rusher with an injury history would fetch for a half-season rental. I'd trade a first for Hunter, Oliver (TE), and their 2nd. Kind of a Madden deal, but would be ideal. They will get a 1st+ for Kirk and their own high 1st...could see them turn it into a DE (Verse?), CB (DeJean?) and QB (JJ McCarthy?). We move down from a low 1st (clear superbowl contenders) to a high 2nd. We get the perfect tightend (athletic pass catcher in college turned premier blocking tightend in NFL) and more importantly, an unstoppable 5-man pressure front of Bosa, Hargrave, AA, and Hunter with Jackson on a loop.

Think Yannick Ngakoue would be a better option probably could be had for a 6th or 7th on a 1 year 10M deal opposed to Hunters 5yr 72M and would probably fetch a 2nd. Been seeing us lining up juice at TE
