Didn't mention LA because I don't think they won't be as aggressive as those 2 because they're legit playoff teams especially the Eagles being SB contenders. LA can get Hunter but that alone possibly doesn't get them by Seattle at 2 in the west. I just think LA will lean more this time keeping draft picks, also Hunter would be a rental and don't know if they want more money tied up to big contracts

Trust me I'm with you I don't see how Renfrow fits in. I'm just agreeing on a PFF rumor that Lynch/49ers are in on Renfrow. For me I think if they get a solid CB they can close up shop and continue on with the season.

You and I are on the exact same page here. I'd absolutely lose my s**t if they found a way to get Surtain, but think that's a pipe dream. If it doesn't happen, I really hope Jaylon Johnson or another CB on that level could bet snatched up.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I also thought CMC was a pipe dream and of course I was telling myself that they didn't need CMC at the time. But low and behold Lynch was working the phones and swung a trade. I have no doubt right now Lynch is trying to get the best player for the 9ers to get this team over the hump, so I'm not gonna doubt a Patrick Surtain deal is in the works. I bet after tomorrow nights game, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday, we see something happen or more rumors at the very least.

I love how Surtain is who the fanbase is clamoring for right now. I thought to myself earlier in the preseaso that if the broncos continue to suck, I'd wonder if they will be willing to trade away Surtain. I imagine it'll take a 1st at the least but I'll take a proven star cb over a random draft pick.

I'll take that. Having 2 good corner and move Lenoir to the slot would really make the defense deadlier than it already is.
