They do and a CB, I just wish they would add something and make some changes soon.

He won't fix the coverage playing so soft the ball will be out when he gets there.
Bears may sell Eberflus tomorrow

No way we are not fine at CB no frickin way. Teams are definitely noticing the weakness in the secondary. And even if they were fine it could still be upgraded.

Yup agree. Would love it if we made a move and went all-in for a CB. Just like E. Sanders was the missing piece, I think another good CB could put us over the top as well. This is the year man, we need to go all in, SB or bust
Just looking at the standing and depth charts of the bad teams as of now abd these are players I'd look into, obviously you'll see CB, RT abd Edge are my priorities.

if the bengals sell I'd look at Jonah Williams at RT, and Chidobe Awuzie at CB, both would start right away while Demo is moved to the the slot bc I think Oliver is suspect. Also the Vikings I'd ask about Danielle Hunter and Andrew Booth, a young kid who has talent and think needs a change and would benefit from the great team around him and Hunter on this line would be crazy, From the Pats Myles Bryant would be a nice addition in the slot and keep demo outside. From the Broncos I'd say Garrett Bolles but he's expensive. From the Raiders I'd ask about Nate Hobbs ( Slot ) or Marcus Peters ( Demo to the slot ). From the Giants I'd ask about Adoree Jackson. From the Jets I'd see about DJ Reed and Bryce Huff or Carl Lawson. Panthers I'd ask about Brian Burns but would cost a lot and Jeremy Chinn ( he can play CB). Bears I'd go all in for Jaylon Johnson. Falcons I'd ask about AJ Terrell who would cost a lot, but Tre Flowers for the slot is an upgrade.
i was hoping broncnos lost to the bears I still don't think they trade surtain but if they were winless after week 6 or so you never know

No, not Super Bowl or bust. That isn't the way Shanahan and Lynch have been building the team. Super Bowl, or, if we fail this year, back next year. This team is being built to compete on a year by year basis. Every year. Long term planning.

It's just my opinion. Trent Williams is retiring soon and we have a bunch of others either getting long in the tooth or that will be looking to get paid. Long story short, this team is special and I think an "all-in" move to help the team this year wouldn't hurt us much long term and would be worth the investment if we brought in a CB. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not confident at all in trotting out Ambry or Oliver come playoff time. We'll see what happens and who's to say whoever we bring in can't be a part of long term planning to compete next year as well?

yeah but the contract situation dictates it. BA will get a huge contract extension, Purdy will get his franchise contract in 2025. Somebody will have to go then.

I was just gonna post this. And like 49er808 said, Trent Williams will be retiring soon. Williams has been key to the way the offense has been performing. They need to make a move to give this team that extra push or spark that E Sanders and CMC have done in the past. But its time to add something to the defensive side of things. Now is the time to throw a 1st or 2nd pick at a defensive player while this team is hot and has ammo to make the needed moves. Back in 2021 once LA made those moves for OBJ and Von Miller it was no stopping them.

The time is now!!!

Jonah is terrible and zero upgrade. Want no one from Bengals O line. Awuzie would be interesting.

Adoree is the guy to target. Lot of the other guys teams aren't gonna want to sell.
Do you guys think the Niners will make a big trade this year before the trade deadline?
