This is it here! If we don't get him, the Eagles or Dolphins are rumored to be looking to land him. A big DB like Chinn who is young, hungry, and perfect for our defense has to be a move that Lunch needs to do more than just consider. He shouldn't cost us a lot and it eliminates the Eagles for having him against us.

While he may lack a starting spot, or even significant snaps, I agree.

I think he can find a niche in this defense, whether it be a type of 3rd LBer or in place of a 4th CB in 3rd and longs.

There's no way surtain would get traded, he's a building block for the next decade. If I had to make a gigantic move I would love to trade for Wirfs instead of a corner

I agree with Burns, not Wirfs. Burns can just fill in and tune up to end of the year. Wirfs messing up an assignment because of missing training camp could wreck the season.
But i would 100% be on board with getting Burns or Hunter as well. give up a 3rd for them, it would basically end up being a 2023 3rd For him and a 2024 3rd, maybe a 4th. And i don't think either has a ton of money due.

Up by 3 scores, 2nd/3rd and long. (Hunter/Burns) Bosa, Hargraves, Gregory getting after it. And in normal situations they are just staying fresh.

i wouldn't include that in the argument because they were going to release him anyway. Before they released him we said we would essentially give you something instead of getting nothing

Not sure we want another player that's not a character fit.

Agree let's just go after one and the rest need to be clean track records

Let's not stop now let's import as many of these defenders that gave up 70 in a game as we possibly can
