Coming back from acl/mcl surgery but he's been solid his whole career and is up for grabs. This team doesn't have to many holes but the right side of the o line is gaping. He could help fix our biggest weakness outside of Wilks
Former #Bengals OT La'el Collins got medical clearance from his ACL and MCL surgery two weeks ago and has been putting work in.
He's gauging interest from several teams and is likely to take free agent visits in the near future.

Stick him at RG, I would be down with that.
Collins is versatile and I'd agree Burford is worse than Mckivitz but doubt we'd sell him to play RG + RT is more important defending against pass rushers

Problem is he isn't a very good pass protector. His best value to this team would be at RG where he would be pretty good.

Well there's a lot of bidders out there, I'd like him at guard too but if his position of choice is tackle do you pass?

Yes because I'm not convinced he's an upgrade at RT. He was bad last year pass blocking. McKivitz issue is more run blocking.
He would be an upgrade at guard however. I'd hope he'd be more interested in a contender than being married to being a RT. If he isn't then he goes elsewhere.
He would instantly become the 2nd best run blocking on our team. As long as the knee is ok, he's always had the speed and mobility to really excel in a zone scheme.

lol even if his knee isn't 100%, he would still instantly become the 2nd best OL period, not just in run blocking

This team needs better run blocking from the right side.
I think it would be worth it to bring him in, get him acclimated, and possibly take over at RT or RG.
Well, no way can they afford to pay him tackle $ to play guard. There'll be plenty of suitors wanting him at tackle and offering that kind of $.
This is what I see, some one is going to give him a multi year contract worth 20-25M
He was just released from a 3 year/21mil contract because of injury after not living up to expectations. And this was after DAL not wanting to extend him after a 10mil/year contract expired. His value has not gone up.
