2025 Free Agency

DT - even though I want them to go get DJ Jones back, I hope they go DT twice in the draft. So I wouldn't throw too much money at a DT in free agency.

Dre Greenlaw. Greenlaw should start the season on the PUP list, so either Tatum Bethune, Dee Winters or Jalen Graham can battle it out. I fully expect them to draft an LB between

I bet Aaron Banks gets a much larger deal than Daniels, who is coming off injury and is older

I don't expect DJ Jones to get too much - he had a down year, but would obviously be a great fit for us

and don't forget about Curtis Robinson, I think he has a better chance to make the team than Graham

Curt was looking good before the injury

I rather go after Rizer from the Vikes or one of the interior guys from KC. There are a lot of quality OL this FA. I think we get a C and a guard, so we can focus on defense/BPA in the draft

I didn't say break the bank for either one of them. And you wouldn't have to.

you said "or break the bank for James Daniels"

Yah Kelly is not worth breaking the bank for. I misread I thought you said Dalman. But you will have to break the bank for Daniels who is the best Guard on the market. Depends how much though.

I think Trey Smith will go for more than Daniels.
Myles Garrett request to be traded. Bosa and Deebo straight up, anyone?

Lol, yes to trading for Myles but your terms are ridiculously dumb.

Pretty sure the Browns would laugh at this offer

No

pointless.
For Garrett it would take at least a Lance-type trade (3 1sts) considering that we might be picking low. Worth it, in my opinion, but I can't see it happening.

Cleveland would never swap players, even high profile ones. They are (again) in full rebuild mode and need picks, not aging veterans.

No

I was half serious, but what would they want besides Bosa because wouldn't they include him in Niner compensation?

The niners would have zero incentive to make a move for Myles if it meant giving up Bosa. The point would be to pair the both of them together. My best guess is you'd be looking at 2 1sts and a sprinkle on top

draft picks.... just like every other NFL trade. This isn't the NBA

and Bosa>> Garrett as far as value, because he's 2 years younger
Whatever it takes to get Garrett can be partly recouped by moving Bosa in a year or two.

Garrett is a much better player than Bosa.

age is non factor with Garrett vs Bosa. Bosa maybe 2 years younger but he also can't stay on the field.

Garrett plays more games a season (even without play offs) and gets more sacks.
