Why in the world would we want Kupp? We already have Ayuik and Deebo under huge contracts Pearsall has looked promising I'd way rather bring back Jennings over a declining Kupp. Sure he's an excellent fit for our offense but why would the Rams trade him to their biggest division rival anyway? None of it makes any sense to even consider

1) Aiyuk has a torn acl
2) Deebo is declining too and probably won't be with the team beyond this year if that
3) Jennings is on the team regardless
4) Pearsall and cowing are cheap rookies and we need more than 2-3 decent receivers
5) as you said…. He's a perfect fit for our offense

It is highly unlikely because division rivals but far far dumber things have been discussed on here lol

All reasons NOT to trade for an old receiver, on the decline, with injury history, on an extremely bloated contracted that his team is desperate to move off of.

No to Kupp.

  • We can get cheaper WRs
  • Outside of Aiyuk, Kittle, Deebo, Jennings, CMC, Pearsall there isn't much targets left. Heck was Cowing even targeted this year? Conley might have caught one ball

49ers need to shed money and get younger, adding on an aging player with a big contract wouldn't be wise. Develop the WR talent we have. .

A player as good as MG goes no 1, i don't think there's theres been a comparable athlete since

Could be yes.

But we know what Myles Garrett will bring. The draft is a crap shoot and we don't really have a stellar record with our 1st round picks.

Id trade 11 and a 2026 pick all day long for Garrett and not think twice.

It hasn't worked in the past and it won't work in the future. We tried speculation with Trey Lance and gave up a ton of picks. We did the same thing when we brought in O.J. Simpson and Jim Plunkett and others. Let's keep our draft picks and stop playing the devils advocate. Watt and Garrett surely would upgrade our defense, but to give up maybe 2 starters and numerous high draft picks I'm complertely against.

We don't know what Cleveland is asking for, so let's figure that out first. It might just be a first top-11 pick and a mid-round pick. Who knows? This is a conversation you have after we get more info? But ask Philly and Saquan Barkley about one player changing everything ask the Packers and Regge White how that worked out for them or the Dallas Cowboys and Charles Haley. As Niners fans we all know how that worked out, don't we.

And a draft that yielded 3 starters in Young, Woodall and Floyd.

Doug Brien , not that he was needed much in that season.
