probably more DE cause apparently Baalke can't draft a pass rusher, one is bound to be gold.

yeah that Aldon Smith guy was terrible. Lynch looks awful too.
Looking at that list, its shocking we got less for VD then Carrier

I thought it was essentially the same. We got a future 5th for Carrier and a current 6th for VD. That is about equal value and the Redskins paid for potential whereas Denver paid to try to win now. They ended up doing it without him though

Well, can't see them taking another DL. And mostly, as we play 3-4 our pass rush comes from the OLB.
1st Rd pick needs to be: CB- Jabril Peppers- Michigan
2017 will be first true test to see if 49ers will draft harbaugh's prospects. peppers, lewis, butt, etc.

Trading of comp picks next year is huge. We will truly have a ton of ammo to navigate up and down the board. More likely than not they are early selections as well. Next offseason is where we make our money and become relevant again, IMO

Yup. Baalke will surely love the ability to trade those picks. He likes to be active on draft day moving up and down the board, trading for future picks...etc.

Of course, they become tradeable in a year where we're likely to only have one of them.

mid-season trade with no time left on the contract. It's more than just talent.
Is there a advantage to having the first two picks in round 7?

Whewww

We can use the extra pick.

Just the fact that Baalke isn't involved makes me feel a ton more optimistic. Make these picks work, Lynch!
