So Kap has a good year and then they take a QB in the 2nd round?? I a real vote of confidence in Kap there.

And IMO, that's a little actually really high for Patrick Mahomes, horrible value.
8 wins is very generous considering the talent on this team. I really do not envison any scenario where this team does not end up with a top 8 pick (more than likely top 5).

good point on drafting a QB in the 2nd Rd..as for Mahomes I think hes going to have a great year and kill his combine which will boost his stock up into the 2-3 rd..

I understand your point but honestly we all know the offense will be better with Chip and the defense is young and good already..all it takes is winning to build confidence..especially for Kap...

We have a shot their up against the cap and we can pay him.

I hope so..but I'm sure the Cards will fid a way to sign him..if not id love to have him on the 49ers..

I just think Mahomes would be much more of a project spending a 2nd round pick on him than say going defense or WR with that pick. I also don't think his play would translate to the NFL, his pocket presence and decision making is horrendous, throws to many passes up for grabs. I know he's only a Sophomore but he also turns the ball over way too much, he needs to clean that up if he's gonna declare for the draft after his Junior season.

I understand and respect your opinion but I disagree..most of the time last year he was on the run due to the o-line sucking..and a lot of that time he created and made great plays and showed awareness while keeping his eyes down field and throwing accurate passes with either great touch on the ball or gunned it into the receiver to beat tight coverage..plus he was playing hurt most of the year..hes slippery to tackle kind of like jerkoff Russell Wilson lol in my eyes can prob play in any offense but would be great in Chips scheme..plus he only had 13 interceptions in an offense that throws the ball 70% of the time maybe more and a lot of the plays are called for tossing the ball up and letting your receiver make a play..but like you said he will only be a Junior and the only way he declares is if he has a better year then last..but then again I'm almost positive his combine and pro day will boost him up draft boards..
As of right now I will say I like that draft. My thoughts will change as the 2016 NCAA season goes on.
I would LOVE Keenan but SD would be the dumbest team ever to let him walk.

I agree..my thoughts will also change as the season goes on..every year there are prospects who fall and rise surprisingly and just pop up without ever really knowing of them..as for Keenan Allen I agree completely he would be great to sign and I think would be amazing in Kellys scheme..but unfortunately your probably right..SD will tag him until they figure out a deal..
Will be very surprised if we don't have a top 10 pick next year, and I could see it being top 5 as well. We have one of the toughest schedules and we're far from filling all the holes that we need to fill. We'll be far more competitive, but we won't win many games unless we stay injury free and a lot of our developing players suddenly click and go to the next level.

Best case scenario is that we're competitive in every game, which is enough for us to look like a more desirable FA destination. Plug a couple of holes in FA and then pick up the difference makers in the draft.

Agree about that Kap part. If he has a "good" year, you don't draft a QB in the 2nd round then.

He'll have the best year of any 3rd-string, inactive QB in the league.

yeah idk about that..he will get his chance whether its starting from the beginning of the season or replacing Gabbert when he does nothing good.

I like it, hopefully they see something Driskel, that they don't have to use a pick that high for a QB.

Ditto
Speaking on the draft specifically you are quite aways off on the spot we are picking but other then your pick in the first being way off your 2bd 3rd and 4th round picks are still decent picks and could happen.
