Trades:
-6th or 7th round pick to the Broncos for Trevor Simeon (throw in Kap with a reduced contract if that that seals the deal though they may just try for him in free agency as a backup/starter). Simeon will be semi familiar with the Shanahan scheme playing in the Dennison/Kubiak scheme.
Free Agents:
-Patrick Dimarco FB from Atlanta
-Aldrick Robinson WR from Atlanta
-Jonathan Hankins DT/NT from NYG
-Sylvester Williams DT/NT from Denver
-Coutrney Upshaw OLB from Atlanta
Draft:
1. Mike Williams WR - Matt Millen jokes aside, Shanahan wants his QB to have his Julio no matter the price
2. Jarrad Davis ILB - Fills a hole with a quality player and a leader on defense
3. Brad Kaaya QB - A lot of hate for this QB but I see star qualities if he has time to develop which he does behind Simeon
4a. Devonte Field OLB - pass rush help.
4b. Josh Reynolds WR - he is too thin right now but he has time to work on that and be brought in for deep shots and in the red zone.
5. Daeshon Hall OLB - pass rush help again. You can't win without a pass rush so load up. Will only be used in pass rushing situations as a rookie.
6. Donnel Pumphrey RB/slot - A poor man's C. McCaffrey that Shanahan can move around.
7. Josh Tupou DT/NT - should go higher but may drop because of character concerns. A massive NT to develop and force some bum NTs off the roster.

Kap needs to go to a team that has a solid locker room and allows individual expression. The Niners are too young and lacking enough talent to have any focus other than 100% football.
Mahomes is potentially a 1st round draft pick especially with the rumors Trubisky is 6' 1" or shorter.
I think Simeon is better than Hoyer - at least more upside and much cheaper.

Kap has a player option, how could we possibly trade him?

Someone with a better sense of contracts would have to answer but wouldn't be possible if that is where Kap wants to go?

You're not trading kap, he'll just opt out and pick where he wants to go.
Also the broncos aren't giving up their starter for a 6th rd pick lol. Dude is cheap as hell and at the very least is a great backup for them.
I want nothing to do with Kaaya and I'll pass on Hankins

I think you are wrong about Simeon. All the talk about the Broncos revolves around getting Romo or giving Lynch (their 1st rounder) a chance to start this year. On the radio they even joked about trading him and said they would be lucky to get "anything for him."

Just curious, what star qualities do you see in Kaaya? I have watched him play numerous times and I see nothing more than an average Qb.

He can make any throw and he has great placement when his footwork isn't muddled. He also keeps his eyes downfield and anticipates where his receivers are going to be. He moves well in the pocket and seems to know when shift side to side or step into the pocket.
I do have some concerns though and maybe this is what you are seeing (let me know). He can be scattershot with his deep throws. He can drop them in but sometimes he overshoots his target. It is hard to tell if it is all on him or there are times where he is getting pressured and makes a bad decision or maybe his WR runs a bad route. He also rarely showed up at the end of big games. Again, I'm not sure if this is all on him because he lacked play makers when defenses knew he had to pass and they could just blitz him constantly.
Finally, here is how I compare him to the top qbs I have concerns with:
Trubisky - Kaaya has more experience and shows the ability to make the same throws as him
Kizer - I think he has a bigger arm. Kizer's passes look like they are lofted too often. I also still have concerns about hand size.
Watson - Kaaya's accuracy is better and would've put up much better stats with Watson's offensive weapons. Kaaya doesn't have the athleticism though.
Mahommes - Kaaya can play in an NFL offense which I'm not sure if Mahommes can even though he has all the physical tools.

Then why do we want him? Elway said he's excited for BOTH his QBs
"Broncos GM John Elway said he is "excited" about the quarterbacks he has on the roster heading into the offseason." End of the day he's got starting experience and is dirt cheap for the next two yrs.

it's not happening imo and I don't want him on this team anyway.

Of course Elway would say that. It increases trade value and doesn't make it a weird situation if Siemian is on the roster next year.
Here is why the 49ers will want him:
-Soon there won't be a singe qb under contract
-Played pretty well behind a garbage O-line while practically being a rookie and injured
-Will pick up the Shanahan offense quickly
Here is the Broncos will want to trade him:
-Pressure to play their first pick of the 2016 draft
-Pressure to sign Romo to win now
-A new offense under McCoy that he may not fit under
-Get a 6th round pick for a former 7th rounder is a win

We will trade Marcus Martin or Mike David for Simeon straight up, or a 7th rounder, sound good to me, if they will take anything.

All joking aside, I feel Simeon has outplayed his 7th rd label. For as good as he was last year, I'd think you need at least a 3rd to pry him away from the Broncos

I can't find an audio clip so I at least have to bring in another guy that heard the same thing on the radio that I did.
"Listening to Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley today, Cecil confirmed it was Adam Schefter who said Siemian has zero trade value."
http://forums.denverbroncos.com/showthread.php?245541-Trevor-Siemian-trade-value/page6
His trade value is probably all over the place but I'll trust Schefter that there basically isn't much of a market.
I know you were trying to be funny but the Brady comp would probably make some people

Not at all saying he was GREAT by any means, but he proved to be competent at least for a 7th rd pick. Given that QB is a premium position my thought would have been that he would have been worth more then I thought. Guess I was wrong
