D. Poe - DT Finally have someone in the middle that is solid

D. Jackson - WR - MOST ARENT A FAN! but He's 30 years old, but I think him being a cali boy he wants to come home. Like it or not he has more 1000 yard seasons than not. In fact only one under 900. And I think he would be better than garcon. When rodgers is healthy he can be the big possession guy. We also Have torry, but he isnt consistent like D-Jack

Kyle Juszczyk - FB - He's one of the best and most heavily used fullbacks in the NFL. While it's a position that doesn't see much value in free agency anymore, Juszczyk is at least a complete player. He can run and pass block with the best of them, and has good receiving skills.

Ryan Schraeder - OT - Knows the offense. I know we have brown, But he is too big for this offense and not athletic enough. ANd still very cheap to groom.

He's been one of the best right tackles in the NFL this season. Put him next to a good guard and he should hold that distinction for a long time. He's young, has good hands and athletic feet. Instantly boost our right side.

Matt Schaub or Hoyer - QB I know I know I'm a jimmy g fan, and yes im all for it. But this is more realistic. Bringing in someone who knows the offense in a new regime is huge. Especially when you are grooming another QB. I believe both will perform well under shanahan again.

AJ - Bouye CB Can start day one, and is legit.

Dont'a Hightower - MLB - nothing needs to be said

DRAFT

1. Mike Williams WR - might be able to trade back to 5 or 6 and snag him. We have been missing an elite receiver since TO. Him and deshawn can be very scary

2. Jarrad Davis - LB - Jarrad Davis is an explosive athlete who has the ability to cover a lot of ground. He uses his speed and quick-twitch ability to make plays from sideline to sideline. Davis is a relentless player who is always in pursuit of the ball.

3. Ethan Pocic - OL - Would love to have him start at center, and move beadles back to guard. Wanet Kupp here but already had williams

4.b Devonte Fields - pass rush specialist - Devonte Fields is a pass-rush specialist at outside linebacker who wins with athletic ability and speed around the edge. He's not someone who currently possesses the coverage skills necessary to be a three-down defender. This will be the fifth season of college football for Fields, and if he stays healthy, the first in which he'll play back-to-back full seasons for the same program. This could have a significant positive impact on his development.

4.b Nathan Peterman - QB - When I watch Nathan Peterman, he reminds me of Kirk Cousins. Neither quarterback has a big frame but they stand in the pocket and deliver multiple throws, even with serious amounts of pressure. Peterman's pocket mobility is what really stands out to me. He averages about six rushing attempts per game with an average of 3.5 yards per carry. But, he can extend plays with his feet and trusts his arm to deliver a great pass down field.

5.a - Antonio Garcia OT Look for him to rise up draft boards after being invited to the Senior Bowl in Mobile. It's a premium to have a player like Garcia that can fill multiple spots even as a scout team player early on. Perfect size and speed for shanahan

5.b - Jeremy McNichols - RB - McNichols has been criminally underrated this year. He's been one of the most complete backs in the country over the past two years, yet has little to no recognition or draft buzz to show for it. He has outstanding production, solid size (5 feet 9 inches, 212 pounds.... sounds alot like gore. no Im not comparing him to the tank.

6.a - stacey coley - wr - perfect to learn from d-jack. quick and fast slot guy.

6.b - Jonathon ford - S -

7th round is open

QB- Hoyer - Peterman
RB- Hyde-McNichols, Harris
FB- Juszczyk
TE- Mcdonald, Bell
WR- WIlliams, Rodgers
WR- Jackson, Kerly, Coley
LT- Staley, Thues
LG- Beadles, Tiller
C- Pocic, Kilgore
RG- Garnett- Tiller
RT- Schraeder, Brown

DE- Buckner, Dial
DT- Poe, Purcell
DE-Armstead, Blair
OLB- Lynch, Harold
ILB- Bowman, Ray-Ray
ILB- Hightower, Davis
OLB- Fields, Carradine
CB- Bouye, Reaser
CB- Robinson, Johnson
SS- Tartt, reid
FS- Ward, ford

I Think our team looks 20x better like this than last year.... Do you disagree?

Purcell, Tank, Eli, Johnson, Cromartie, and Tartt are all part of the problem not the solution.
Where's Reid?
Where's the love for Trenton Brown?

I chose to have him be a back up. Because he's too big and slow. And the guy I stole came straight from Atlanta and was the best lineman on that team maybe one of the best lineman in the league

I don't understand signing Hightower and drafting a backup in the 2nd unless you plan on Bowman retiring next year. We need a couple of impact guys so seems like a waste with a big FA signing then a high pick at the same position.

Peterman is no go. One of the weakest arms I've seen. The ball has no zing whatsover coming off his hand.

Not to mention we are trying to find our next FQB here, Peterman is not even in the same league, he is 4th round material at best.

Lol. If you look up you can see where I drafted him. I'm not going to waste a pic in the first round on a quarterback that has zero experience. I like Peterman and I also like mahomes. In this mock I got Peterman. No one can deny the roster is not better in this scenario

"Mid-round lottery" is no way to go and find a franchise QB. If you think by drafting a QB in the 4th will land you another Dak Prescott, then good luck with that!
Do you honestly see Shanahan, Lynch and others coming into power here in San Fran and starting the 1st season with Hoyer at QB? If Hoyer is starting for us Week 1 next year, move the team to Peru, as no one will watch them play on tv anyway.

Our 1st draft pick must be a QB. end of story. I dont want to pay the Pats what they will want for Jimmy G. Cutler, Hoyer etc are not the answer.

You have to deal with the fact that's a big possibility bc even if a QB is drafted with the 2nd pick he might not be ready day 1..if a QB is drafted in the 2nd or later then no matter who it is I don't think will be ready either..
I would be very happy if this was our offseason. There is a couple picks/free agents I would change. But all and all I believe you covered a lot or areas of need. Pocic at center would be a steal I believe he is underrated and the Niners have been egnoring the center position for years. I would also Draft another QB in that open 7th round spot either
Player Win/lose Comp% TD/INT round Size

Zach Terrell 30-19 65.5 96 / 31 FA 6'2" 204#
Did you steal my draft haha? http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/nfl-draft/187909-first-2017-draft-offseason-projection/

Obviously, I think this is a very rock solid mock. Not sure I like Pocic that much and Garcia sounds like he will go higher but overall I'll give this an A :)

On November 21, 2016, Schraeder signed a five-year contract extension with the Falcons. - Falcons.com

Good mock, but FA may be too aggressive/unrealistic.
