Lol oh okay...he already has a s**t ton of money and will get paid anywhere. He wants to win before he retires and that s**t an't happening here.

Zero chance the Jets give up a 2nd round pick and future 1st to move up 3 spots just because one report said they like Trubisky.

Like NYniner said, I doubt we get Romo and I'm not sure I'd want to give him that much money. In this scenario, we just need a bridge QB who is good enough to keep Mahomes on the bench. We don't need anyone who can win games or who will cost $50 million over 3 years. I'd rather see us lose a bunch of games under Hoyer/Gabbert in 2017 and defer a ton of cap space while giving Mahomes time to learn the offense and also putting us in position to draft a top QB in 2018 in case Mahomes doesn't work out.

I like the draft picks for the most part - I like Mahomes as a high upside project QB, Lamp would be an instant starter and help improve one of the worst lines in the league, and Hodges could be a really good TE (we did just give MacDonald a huge contract though). Beckwith is a nice target in the later rounds if we don't address ILB earlier.

Pass on romo, while its extremely unlikely he'd ever want to come, he's definitely not worth the money for a multi year contract being 1 sack away from retirement. Huge hole at LB that I'd rather use the money on. Beckwith is a player I like, but does not project well as a 4-3 backer, especially the Will. I do like most of your draft picks, however. Also, you're not gonna throw the bank at Ingram to play Sam. He's gonna be your LEO leaving an even bigger hole at LB

No Romo. Whilst our O line is getting better it isnt goid enough to get hin through half a season. The guy needs to retire. This mock gives the Jets their qb of the future and the 49ers a qb of the past.
