Although I'd like to stand pat and take Garret, it might not happen. Because trades are also fun I have plenty of them. I know it's incredibly unrealistic and it's more for fun. Although each individual trade is very plausible on their own IMO.

As we all know QB is king. We work out a trade for Jimmy g or Kirk cousins

For kirk: 2018 1st 2017 5th and 7th. Like it or not it cost to get a proven QB. Will likely cost more.

Alternatively for Jimmy g: 2017 #2, 2018 conditional 3rd can turn into 2nd


Trade #2 for Tennessee's #5 and #18 (if garrets there they'll consider it)

trade #5 to Carolina for #8 and their 2nd

Trade our 2nd or Carolina's (depending on which QB trade we do) and a 4th for Houston's #25

Now finally the picks. We now own #8, #18, #25 and #34 or #40 depending on QB trade and we have our franchise QB

#8 Derrick Barnett OLB. Consolation prize for not getting Garret, and a damn good one at that.

#18 O.J Howard TE. Ultra talented TE for Shannahan to work with

#25 Tre'Davious white CB. A solid player doesn't have all the measurables to go to earlier

#34/40 John Ross WR. I pray he's around at this point because he is one of my favorite players in the draft. He is a great route runner, a consistent pass catcher, a true speedster (will very likely run in the low 4.3's, and a yac monster. His knocks are he's a little short and his awful injury history. But if you get this guy and he's healthy, watch out.


All that and kirk cousins/ Jimmy g? Yes please. I'd like to address OL at some point and taking one at #18 or #25 would make sense I'm just not familiar with this OL class yet.

Again incredibly unrealistic just having fun.

I would love it if we somehow could get the Titans two first rounders. Grab Fournette and Davis and then BPA in the second. Some quality will drop to that pick and maybe get our QB.

I like the Garnett for Robinson trade there

Lotta work you put into that post. I like your option 2 but instead of drafting an MLB with our second why not sign Ingram?

Also the FS pick with our first I don't like. We have alot of holes and that's one spot we have competent players.

I disagree on the FS aspect. Mist of the guys we have are hitters. None are good in coverage or would be good in single high looks.

Ingram isn't a MLB

If Lynch and company want to attack as they say... MLB and FS are the 2 biggest components after DL obviously IMO
