Draft
Round 1 pick 2- 49ers trade the 2nd pick overall to the Jets for the 6th pick, the 39th pick, and the 70th pick overall.
Round 1 pick 6- 49ers draft WR Corey Davis 6'3 213 Western Michigan- I believe this guy is a true #1 wide receiver who checks all of the boxes. He is very explosive, big, fast, and runs good routes. He'd be the closest thing we to TO since TO. Could be our Julio Jones.
Round 2 pick 34 QB Pat Mahomes Texas Tech- This guy has all the tools that you look for in a quarterback.
Came from a offense that inflates your numbers, but I think he has a lot of talent and could be a very good franchise QB with the right coaching.
Round 2 pick 39 OLB TJ Watt Wisconsin- He knows how to get to the quarterback like his big brother. Had some injuries in college and so that's why he's here in the second round.
Round 3 pick 66- CB Adoree Jackson USC- Prior to this season was regarded as one of the top corners. Great athlete. Could develop into a really good corner. Move Ward to FS.
Round 3 pick 70- TE Bucky Hodges Virginia Tech- Huge specimen that is much needed insurance for Vance Mcdonald. Would be a great receiving threat for us.
Then in round 4 go best running back available and maybe get another pass rusher.

Mahomes in the 2nd rd would be tough to swallow. I think he's a rd 4-5 guy.

I don't watch much college ball, but from what I have seen Corey Davis my favorite receiver.

I'm not as high on Mahomes as some others but that's crazy talk. Kid has special talent, it's all about whether he can take to NFL coaching and put in the work to get better.

How many guys like that coming out of college became successful NFL starters?

6:46 minute highlight tape. The only time he sooooort of steps up in the pocket and throws to anyone but his first read is around 3:40. And even then it's to the back out of the backfield. Everything else is first read or moving out of the pocket. And never once does he step up when he feels pressure.

I think Lynch should re-sign Chris Jones...he'd be a great compliment to Mitchell & can play both DT and DE. No real need to spend FA $$ on Poe. In lieu of Poe, FS Duron Harmon would be a great signing. Mahomes will get drafted NLT rd 2...doubters need to look past the offense he played in at TT. I believe this guy could have success in any offense...he's got the arm, mobility, accuracy and is fearless...and he was coached by Kliff Kingsbury, a former TT QB. Another guy who'd be a great draft pick is C/OT Pat Elfein. I'd expect Shanahan to tweak his OL potentially both in FA and the draft.

those are highlights, not game footage....
I watched until 2 minute mark, he leaves the pocket once out of about 10 pass pays and does so because the play action as busted and he was forced out.
