Thanks! Please feel free to share them. I still have a lot of time before the draft to improve my board.

My opinions:

Thomas > Barnett
Hooker > Adams
Kaaya does have a pro-style background, but he scares me
Foster should be ranked higher

Good notes. I mentioned above my Barnett and Thomas comp... it is pretty difficult right now and the combine could make one or the other move dramatically.

I definitely do not see the Hooker versus Adams comparison. They are different types of safeties to me too so maybe you like one type (ballhawk vs. all around) more than the other. Why do you say that?

I have a wide range of a grade for Foster. He checks so many boxes and he is a freaking missile when he locks onto his target but I'm not sure how he will do when he has to work his way through a mess of bodies. I feel like he can be a star on a good defense but he can't be expected to be the face of that defense (unlike a Thomas, Barnett, Allen, Lattimore or Garrett's potential).
Looks like Kizer's hands are not a concern. I can mark that off my fears for him. The rest of him is so large it must've made his hands look smaller in my eyes.

I guess in terms of what we have and what we'd need at the Safety position, I think Hooker is a much better player for us than Adams. It might just be me, but Adams reminds me LaRon Landry (pre steriods)

Interesting comparison. I know Landry was a huge disappointment in the NFL as a PED abuser, injury risk, etc but I think he was deserving of his selection in the draft. That draft was before I really started to analyze players so I don't have my own notes but I googled and this profile right here makes him sound like the next great. If you replaced this write up with Adams' name then you say that is a top 5 pick.

I don't think you can say just because Landry turned into a bust you can correlate that with Adams doing the same.
Lamp is sure starting off strong and may have missed out in putting him in my top 50
Well put together! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Idaho!
Feeling pretty good about my big board after the combine. Not taking into account potential injury history or interviews, I feel confident/justified in players that I have ranked higher than most (Lawson, Bolles, Ross, Willis).

The ones that I think I may need to adjust:

Down: Tabor, Brantley
Up: McCaffrey, Reddick

Anyone have any major shakeups in their board after the combine or think mine needs some tweeking?
*golf clap*

Your assessment of Mahomes and Kizer sure sound like a QB who the SF 49ers had on the roster last year. Had a problem standing for the National Anthem and all..

I'm taking the golf clap as sarcastic but I will still take it as a compliment.

Yes and no regarding Mahomes and Kizer. Kizer I would say is a completely different animal than Kap. I think Kizer can be a better pocket passer and won't rely on his feet to run first when things break down. If you mean the accuracy part, then yes but that could possibly improve.

Mahomes, is different as well. He has an unorthodox release like Kap (a pitcher background also from what i've heard?) but I think he gets it out quicker. Has anyone timed their releases to compare? Mahomes also seems more willing to chuck the ball and he can place it in a variety of ways instead of us just saying with Kap that it is a fastball or nothing.

Think you have Mike Williams too high and David Njoku too low. Njoku is bigger, longer, stronger, more athletic, and younger than Williams. He's a better version of Eric Ebron in my opinion while Mike Williams is a poor man's Alshon Jeffery or a rich man's Laquon Treadwell. He struggles to get separation and not running at the combine is a red flag. I still think Williams should be a first round pick and is in the discussion of top WR with Corey Davis and John Ross due to his hands and ability to high point the football, but he's not an elite WR prospect.

I agree with your feedback. I was mostly talking about major leaps or falls on my board but I think you are correct about Williams and Njoku. I'll probably drop Mike 3 or 4 slots down while Njoku I like but not more so than some of the people I have above him. I'll probably switch where Njoku and Cam Robinson are in my board by the time my top 100 comes out. Thanks!

I was talking about pretty big jumps I would make - I would have Njoku rated above Mike Williams point blank. Howard too. There are two elite TEs in this draft and no elite WRs. I'd have both Howard and Njoku in the 10-15 range and Corey Davis and Mike Williams in the 15-20 range probably. John Ross is a wildcard depending on his injury.

Rookie tight ends rarely pay off though. Henry was the best last year and he was a 2nd rounder and played half the time. Are you going to play Njoku on every down? I feel like Howard is the only one you can say that about. At least, that is something I take into account during my evaluations.

Thanks. Takes a lot of time to put together so I appreciate the note.

This sucks. Waste of time.

J.K.

Well done. I officially removed Sidney Jones out of my top 50. I think he might be a tad overrated. Would rather have Adoree Jackson.

Also, Forrest Lamp NEEDS to be in the top 25. Dude is a stud. Unless I missed him.
